• What is the place of compassion in business?
• Is it possible to be both a compassionate person and a ‘successful’ business person?
Compassion Defined
• Compassion is recognizing that the pain or joy in you at any given time is only a heartbeat away from me.
• Compassion is serving each other at times of pain and of joy and knowing that when my turn comes, you’ll be there for me.

Service over Fixing• “Fundamentally, helping, fixing
and service are ways of seeing life. When you help you see life as weak, when you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. From the perspective of service, we are all connected: All suffering is like my suffering and all joy is like my joy.”
