Both mastheads are rather distorted. However, my magazine has the artist covering the masthead which usually Kerrang has also. Both feature a PLUS section and a poster special. These two features are usually the main things readers look at if the magazine doesn’t fully show their favourite artist. Kerrang has multiple sub images which makes it look messy and untidy where as mine does not; this is due to a lack of being able to get sub images and also the feeling that sub images wont work. There is a clear difference in the font styles used. Kerrang uses a lot more fonts where as mine does not. Kerrang also uses a lot more sub headings where as mine doesn’t which makes mine look bland and uninteresting.
