Assay Cell Line Development
Stable assay cell lines are used in a variety of research and development applications such as assaydevelopment, drug screening and functional studies. Trenzyme offers with its proprietary ExoIN technology areliable platform for generating customized assay cell lines in record time. We will establish the best strategyfor your individual cell line project including validation of the desired assay.

Highest flexibility: Our modular designed cell line development package guarantees highest flexibility from genesynthesis across cell line generation to assay development.
Homogenously expressing cell pools: Due to our proprietary ExoIN technology the expression of the target protein isstrictly linked to the expression of the selection marker. Once selected, the pool homogeneously expresses the targetprotein within a short time. Due to the homogeneity and stability of the ExoIN pool, the generation of a clonal cellline is not necessary for many applications. Furthermore, we can give a robust feasibility answer a few days aftertransfection and predict the functionality of the final cell line.
Modulated target expression: As the selection marker and target protein expression are linked on protein level, theexpression level of the target can easily be modulated by the selection conditions. This unique feature furtherimproves the quality of a stable cell line and allows to identify the best expression level for a given target.
Clonal cell line development: Choose the best producing cell clone! Due to our ExoIN technology and our excellentcell sorting facility we also provide a streamlined development of clonal cell lines for drug development and cellbased assays.
Broad target spectrum: The target spectrum extends from GPCR to ion channels, membrane- and nuclear receptors,transporters, proteases, kinases and other enzymes. Our assay cell lines are used in drug development laboratoriesall over the world.
Host cell lines: Our proprietary ExoIN technology works with any mammalian cell line and we are using routinelyCHO-K1, HEK293 and a variety of other parental cell lines (e.g. BHK, A-20, 1321N1, PC12). If desired, you can alsoprovide your parental cell line.
Assay development: Functional assays will give you clear results about the target activity and performance of yourcell line. Various cell based assays are established in our laboratories and are available for activity testing.
