Harmont & Blaine S.p.A - an Italian company founded in Naples in 1995 - produces, markets and distributes high end sports clothing, with its signature Dachshund logo, for men, women and children.

An intensive campaign to grow the business on a global scale transformed the small family-run enterprise into a major player on the international stage.

One of the secrets of the Harmont & Blaine success is our logo - the tiny Dachshund that has always marked our products.

These super-sleuthing dogs may be small, but they are big on intuition, determination and courage, all skills which help them to conquer their territory with tenacity and wit.

The smart casual man’s wardrobe in a summer suitcase. The Harmont & Blaine Spring-Summer 2018 collection takes its inspiration from what goes into a summer suitcase. Holiday clothes are cool and colourful, evoking the Mediterranean influences that define the upbeat, free-thinking Harmont & Blaine man who likes to look smart as he keeps cool. A man who knows how to put comfort into casual chic.

The mood for the new Harmont & Blaine campaign is “An Italian Journey” touching on Italy’s most iconic and internationally famous locations, loved by travellers the world over.

“The table top was heaving with drawings for the new collections. Loads of colourful sketches scattered here and there. What we were looking for was something that would strike a perfect balance between innovation and tradition; the idea came to us out of the blue. It was quite simple, yet startlingly original at the same time. We took the classic polo shirt as a base and gave it an extra touch to elevate it to more elegant heights: a collar in shirt fabric, respecting and exalting the best Italian sartorial tradition.” 20 years ago, in Harmont & Blaine, It was born the Polo Vietri.

A new store concept

L’inaugurazione della boutique di Parigi ha rappresentato l’occasione per svelare la nuova immagine dei punti vendita, firmata dagli architetti lo sanno e Perini dello studio fiorentino PLS design.L’ambientazione trae ispirazione dal mondo luminoso e solare della costa mediterranea che si fonde ad elementi del design italiano degli anni sessanta reinterpretati in chiave moderna. La luce e le nuances di colore azzurro e blu vengono riscaldate dalla pavimentazione in pietra arenaria color sabbia, dal rovere e dal tessuto écru dei mobili espositivi. Un decoro di 33.000 tessere semisferiche di colore bianco e blu, incastonate a mosaico nelle pareti verticali dell’ingresso e nelle colonne, rende omaggio alla tradizione della lavorazione della ceramica tipica del mediterraneo e al grande architetto italiano Giò Ponti, da cui ne è tratta l’ispirazione.

Materiali naturali, elementi tradizionali e tecnologia si compongono in maniera apparentemente semplice ma in realtà assai ricercata, creando un’atmosfera al contempo accogliente e sofisticata.
