mission (BSEC) and it is also a full service Depository Participant of Central Depository Bang-

ladesh Limited (CDBL).

In 2013 the Sheltech Pvt. LTD, the board of directors, along with the current management of

Sheltech Brokerage Limited made an acquisition of GQ Securities Limited. With this, SBL

started its journey on DSE. The company was transformed to the market leading standard just

within six month of the acquisition. We have earned this recognition through our performance

Engr. Kutubuddin Ahmed is the Chairman of Sheltech Pri-

vate Limited. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from

BUET, he is an Entrepreneur, Industrialist, Business Manag-

er and Market Specialist with extensive experience in com-

merce and industry.

He is also the Chairman and Founder of Envoy Group. He is

the Former President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers

and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Metropolitan Chamber

of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). He is also the Former

Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association

(BOA). He is associated with several professional, social and

sports organizations.

Dr. Toufiq M. Seraj is the Founder Managing Director of

Sheltech Private Limited. He is an Engineer and Planner by

profession. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Civic Design from the

University of Liverpool, UK. He formerly held academic po-

sitions in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology

(BUET). He has wide range of publications in national and

international journals.

He is the Chairman of Forum for Physical Development of

Bangladesh (FPD). He is the former President of Bangladesh

Institute of Planners (BIP). He was the President of Real Es-

tate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) for

three consecutive terms (2000-2006). He was also the Presi-

dent of Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management

(BSTQM) and Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF).

Board of Directors Mr. Tanvir Ahmed specializes in business management and ad-

ministration. He obtained a Master Degree in Business Admin-

istration from Cardiff University, a Diploma in Strategic Organi-

zation Management and Managerial Accounting from the Lon-

don School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree (with

H o n o r s ) f r o m K i n g s t o n U n i v e r s i t y , U K .

As the Director (Development) of Sheltech, he is in charge of the

development and operation of the Platinum Chain of Hotels,

which are the first boutique hotels in Bangladesh. He is also in

charge of the coordination of Supply Chain Management and Hu-

man Resource Development of Sheltech Private Limited.

Engr. Choudhury Jamal Ashraf is the Vice Chairman & CEO of

Sheltech Engineering Ltd. Engr. Choudhury is a civil engineering

graduate from BUET. Prior to joining business he was BCS of-

ficer in the Government. He has extensive professional experi-

ence in the field of construction and project management.

Currently he is a Director of Forum for Physical Development of

Bangladesh (FPD), He is the former President of Sylhet Club

Limited.

The current CEO, Moin Uddin worked as a key personnel in both

IDLC Securities and City Brokerage, the two top brokerages of the

country. Dealing with high net worth clients, Moin Uddin managed

one of the largest portfolios of local capital market. The experience is

reflected in the new client base of Sheltech Brokerage as it has built

a large base of high net worth clients within a very short time. He

promotes a culture where institutional and high net worth clients

receive customized and specialized services.

The Head of Operations, Manna Shome brings in multinational expe-

rience and standard in Sheltech Brokerage as well. Previously, he

worked as one of the key persons of the UCB Capital Management

LTD, and later on, he brought his knowledge of operation manage-

ment of a financial institution into Sheltech Brokerage Limited. He

also has work experience in multinationals such as Unilever Bangla-

desh Limited.

Management Mr Mahmudul Hasan has the experience of handling the talent pool of

the top companies of the local financial industry, and IT industry. His

work portfolio includes LankaBangla Securities, Samsung Bangladesh

Research & Development Center, and Pacific Bangladesh Telecom.

His expertise includes psychometric assessment of organizations tal-

ent pool and integrating data infrastructure with HR decision making.

Md Rakibul Hasan has made himself a name for generating opti-

mum efficiency in trading. He has a vast experience in dealing with

institutional accounts and large fund management. Previously He

has worked at the then largest merchant bank AB Bank Investment,

and largest brokerage house Lankabangla Securities. His experience

in building companies and taking them to the highest scale is being

used for Sheltech Brokerage at the moment.

S.M. Ferdaus Hussain comes from diverse work experiences. His ex-

pertis ranges from Finance & Accounts supervision to Merchant Bank-

ing operations , Management Information System, and all the back

office operation of a brokerage house. His prior experience before

Sheltech Brokerage includes Union Capital and Unicap Securities.

N.M Al Hossain is the brain behind the value investing approach of

Sheltech Brokerage. His prior organizations includes Next Capital

Partners, Mindspring Research, Zenith Investment Ltd., and Asian

Tiger Capital Partner. His experience and Expertise includes invest-

ment banking, Portfolio Management and the job of a Sell Side Equity

Analyst. He is currently overlooking all the research publication and
