We provide safe and thorough logistics services, including land transport using our own chassis and trucks, maritime shipping within the UTOC/MOL group, and loading and unloading work.

We handle all three temperature ranges (frozen, cooled, and room temp) at Keihin port. We use battery powered forklifts in the warehouses in our aim to operate ecological and high quality warehouses that are good for both the freight and the environment.

We have installed the Quatro operation management system for container trans-portation, with a system enabling us to check the transportation status of over 150 containers per day in a timely fashion.

We have obtained ISO 39001 certified, the international standard for road transportation safety management systems. We work to improve our safety management system with a target of zero accidents in transportation.

We are capable of total coordination that includes not just domestic arrangements, but transport, unloading, and installation at overseas factories in using maritime shipping and in cooperation with our over-seas locations.

We plan the optimal logistics solution to meet our customer’s needs based on our abundant experience and track record. We propose high quality, safe, and reliable logistics services.

CSR at UTOC

UTOC is engaged in a variety of activities to contribute to the de-velopment of an abundant society and continuously generate value as a company.

We are heading toward an assured future based on our history of tradition and experience

1413

Japan during the Meiji period hurried to industrialize, and it was at this time that we built the foundation that has made us known today as UTOC : A Heavy Goods Specialist, through the involvement in the handling and transport of heavy ma-chinery and plant facilities, as well as the construction of many power plants.

During the drastic changes of the Showa period, we worked to diversify our business while put-ting effort into acquiring cutting edge equipment and facility con-struction, enabling us to handle the new era of port transport and heavy goods transport.

This year will be the 125th anniversary of the start of our business, and the 100th anniversary of our founding. We will continue to evolve into a new UTOC while carrying on the tradition and passion of our fore bearers.

We became sensitive to the changing times and customer needs and cre-ated our “UTOC VISION 2020” growth strategy to expand our business do-main beyond “transport” alone. UTOC: From Yokohama to the World, we continue to take on new challenges.
