FLOCONTROL TAKES ABV & 4-PORT FCU VALVE SETS TO A NEW LEVEL OF COMPACTNESS AND FLEXIBILITY

The Compact ABV & 4-Port FCU ValveSet is easy to select and comes pre-assembled, tested, set and Ready To Fit.

It fits directly over the FCU drip tray with40mm centres. The Compact ABV & 4-Port Range is particularly suited for smallspaces and slim line units. A wide rangeof connections and module extensions isavailable, e.g. air vents or strainers,whilst the compact size of the valve setis maintained.

The module includes the valves andcomponents required to dynamicallyflush the FCU backward, forward orexternally, purge, vent, automaticallybalance the system and control themaximum flow rate with + 5% accuracyat the FCU.

ABV WITH INTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE “COMPOSITE” INSERT RANGE

The ABV includes an innovative self-adjustment featureenabling each valve to continuously self-balance, whichensures the precise delivery of the pre-selected flow raterequired by each terminal unit, independent of pressurefluctuations in the hydronic system.

The ABV is designed over 41 maximum flow rate settingsbetween [0.0081 – 0.408 l/s], suitable for heating and coolingapplications [-20 to +100 °C].

The ABV has an easily removable insert to ensure a troublefree filling and flushing operation. Flowrates can easily beadjusted.

The Compact FCU ABV & 4 Port VALVE SET isdesigned to include all of the required valves andfeatures for easy selection, installation,commissioning, control and maintenance.

With union connections at every joint and valvebodies with removable and interchangable insertsthe concept allows for a totally versatile approachto designing the valve set for both heating andcooling duties.

To simplify the approach the Valve Set isdescribed and quoted as 3 elements:

1. Valve Set including ABV Insert2. 4-Port Valve including Actuator 3. System connections

The Valve Set includes:
