Working in partnership with Care Housing Association, Eden Futures is in the process of bringing to the sector a new build consisting of 12 one-bedroomed, self contained apartments with access to communal areas in Shirebrook, North East Derbyshire. The self-contained apartments will also share the newly acquired site with 4 specialist bungalows. The service is primarily for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and/or mental health support needs including those with a forensic or offending background. The service will provide a new living environment, which will help the people to feel safe in their own home. The support provided by our highly skilled staff will enable the people to live as independently as possible. Accommodation Once complete, there will be 12 one-bedroomed, self contained, generously sized apartments each with its own front door, kitchen-diner, bedroom and bathroom. Shirebrook Community Supported Living Service There will be 4 self-contained apartments on each of the three floors within the development and on the first and second floor there will be communal spaces for the tenants to meet friends, family and stakeholders. The staff hub will also be located on the first floor, enabling us to provide 24/7 support that includes a waking-night as an integral part of the new service.

Working in partnership with Care Housing Association, Eden Futures is in the process of bringing to the sector a new build consisting of 12 one-bedroomed, self contained apartments with access to communal areas in Shirebrook, North East Derbyshire. The self-contained apartments will also share the newly acquired site with 4 specialist bungalows.

The service is primarily for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and/or mental health support needs including those with a forensic or offending background. Location

The new service is situated in Shirebrook, a town in the Bolsover district of North East Derbyshire on the border with Nottinghamshire, 6 miles from Mansfield, 10 miles from Chesterfield and 12 miles from Worksop.

The new service is located in a residential area within walking distance of many local amenities such as supermarkets, the post office, a pharmacy, cafes and restaurants.

The former colliery town is nestled between the Peak District and Sherwood Forest and is renowned for its wide variety of weekly markets and brass band music that is showcased at numerous events throughout the year.

The town is located on the Robin Hood railway line linking Nottingham to Worksop and there are several bus routes that service the town from Chesterfield, Bolsover, Mansfield and Sheffield.
