Several years ago the three Rochester Rotary clubs decided to contribute toward the expansion of the city skate park as our project to commerate the Rotary International Centennial.

This decision was a response to a study done by the city to determine what the youth of Rochester needed for their entertainment. The Rotary clubs made a commitment of $30,000 toward this project, plus volunteer time to help build the park
