INTRODUCTION
Barriers means all those hurdles which stop or interrupt the purpose of communication. Barriers are mainly two types… 1) Physical barrier2) psychological barrier
BARRIERS TO COMMUNICATION
# It is a problem in the way of transmitting a message from it source to destination.# For example: You send a letter to your friend but he didn’t get it, this is a physical barrier.
1) PHYSICAL BARRIER
# These are the barriers which are directly related to some internal of the destination or the receiver. # The receiver receive the message clearly but due to some reason fail to understand and react properly.
2) PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIER
#This kind of hurdle is the result of using very difficult , jaw breaking and tongue twisting words by the communicated.
A) SEMANTIC NOISE
# This barrier occurs when the field of experience is not common to both sender and receiver. For example: Scientist want to communicate on Newton Law with uneducated people, definitely communication will fail.
B) FIELD OF EXPERIANCE
#Cognitive means process of thinking and dissonance means conflict .#So cognitive dissonance means conflict in thinking.# It occurs usually when the receiver accepts message but due to reason fails to react aacording to desired response of the receiver.
c) COGNITIVE DISSONANCE
#If the facial expressions , body language or attitude of the sender do not match with the tone of the message then it will also become a psycho hurdle for the receiver.
D) EXPRESSIONS
#If the communicator wants to talk about some change in custom and tradition definitely his communication will be fail.
