At last we have signs of spring. Daffodils and crocuses are blooming and at least one pair of hardy robins have started nesting. A time for hope and a feeling of well being . Not just the prospect of lighter nights and warmer days, we now have the newly formed Beds Road Race Team with its promise of future performances in both road races and time trials. A good attendance on club runs and an active social calendar all add up to a thriving club. We must not
forget the GoRide members who have an action filled programme throughout the year. These boys and girls are the future of the Club. It’s not all sunlight and roses however. Gremlins have been at work. First there were problems with your editor’s computer, in-volving, among other things, the inability to type B or N, but only intermittently. This was eventually solved by the purchase of a new key-board. Then the Club web sight disappeared. Things can only get better! TAB
PARKING AT THE CLUBROOM We have agreed with our neighbours not to park opposite their entrances. In fact it is not always our members who are responsible but never-the-less we have obtained some “NO PARKING” signs which we hope you will observe .

Road Safety. An important reminder to everyone.
We regrettably had 2 disqualifications in Club events in 2014 and another this year, for riding on the wrong side of the road. Your own safety and that of other competitors and road users is high on our list of priorities so, if we notice anyone putting themselves or others at risk in any Club event, we WILL disqualify.
British Library A copy of this magazine is kept in the British Library and forms an important part of Club History. It is vital therefore, that accounts are as complete as possible. Would you all please send results, reports and stories to the Editor so that a true picture of Club activities is recorded. (See back page for addresses)
