Panel Gutter A single image

usually with a frame or border around it.

The space between

the panels.

Caption A box with text that narrates the comic or gives extra information about the story.

Thought Balloon Tells the unspoken

thoughts of a character.

The Reader

The Writer

The Writer

The person who wrote the script or dialogue for the

comic book. Sometimes the writer is also

the artist especially in non-superhero comics.
