DESCRIPTION

Over March Break, one of my homework assignments is to create a survey for a fictional product or service I have created. The Comfort Zone is an Art-based Healing Retreat with a variety of activities and workshops and the future home of the Imaginarium art gallery and Carousel of Friendship. I invite readers to complete a survey to help make the Comfort Zone the Ideal Place.

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to the Comfort Zone

The Comfort Zone is a revolutionary new Art-Based Healing Retreat that offers a variety of exciting and enriching programs and activities.

Whether you decide to stay over for one night or a week or two, or even just drop in for an afternoon workshop or lunch at the Tea Room, the Comfort Zone has something for everyone including our musical programs such as Open Mike, Karaoke and jam sessions with other musicians, papier-mache, mask-making, ceramics or quilting and embroidery, taught by our resident artist, Margaret Franklin, who will also inspire you to create carousel animals for out Carousel of Friendship project.

Our facilities include peaceful overnight suites at negotiable rates, hot tub, sauna and indoor pool, a variety of art workshops and a recording studio as well as locally sourced food available from our kitchen, prepared by our staff of dedicated volunteers.

On our grounds you will find the Imaginarium, a unique art gallery where artists can display and sell their work for free. Artists are encouraged but not obligated to donate a percentage of their earnings to help us continue to provide quality service for all. Think of it as paying it forward. Think of us as family.

We are also the future home of the Carousel of Friendship, a one-of-a-kind community project. It is a full-sized, operating carousel with horses and animals designed by all our participants. This project is partially funded by the sale of embroidered quilts featuring an assortment of carousel art, available at the Imaginarium.

We here at the Comfort Zone invite you to participate in our survey in order that we may better serve you and make this the Ideal Place for everyone. Please take the time to answer the following questions;

What do you look for in the ideal vacation?

What are your hobbies?

What new skills would you be interested in learning?

What do you usually do to relieve stress?

Do you have any creative skills that you would be willing to pass on?

Important, what do you NOT want to have in your ideal place?
