We believe that artisan products crafted with pride are the true luxury in a world addicted to throw-away consumption. But it is in boundless creativity that Artisan du Chocolat excels.

From our famous sea salted caramels to our unique pearls, our surprising Os or our bars conched and refined from ground beans in our atelier, our whimsical collections of chocolates are inspired from the tapestry of cultures and cuisines of London, the most diverse city in the world.

An exceptional and whimsical range of 40 fresh chocolates made with rare cocoa beans, pure or infused with fruits, nuts, seeds, flowers, herbs and spices ranging from familiar vanilla and fresh mint to the exotics such as lumi or tobacco.

Our couture chocolates are hand-packed in assorted ecrins of 6, 12, 24, 48 or 96 chocolates, from a favour to a big statement.

Artisan du chocolat is proud to feature young British artists who illustrated our couture chocolates. This collection was created by Jordana Lyden-Swift who studied at Chelsea College of Art & Design before going on to complete her architectural degree at the LMU Sir John Cass Faculty of Art & Architecture. She is now a senior member of Unit+, an interdisciplinary design collective based in London, working on socially driven small scale architectural design projects across Europe. However her passion for illustration has never wavered.

Jordana’sinspiration“As an artist and designer I find inspiration in everything that I encounter. The intense flavours of these chocolates were inspiration enough, and in some cases the illustrations represent simply how I feel a taste would visually manifest. Certain tastes remind me of both places and people, so many of the illustrations are reflective of these experiences. Hence these illustrations are a very personal collection for me that sit well with the flavours of the chocolates.”

Truffles collection

Light and intense dark, milk or layered, our truffles are the most classical of all our chocolates.

Made to perfection with a hint of edible shimmer and available in assorted boxes of 19 or 36 morsels, our classical truffles never go out of style.

We also produce a selection of fine sugar free dark, milk and layered truffles.

These lush truffles with a vinous addition from Chapel Down Reserve Brut or Chapel Down Rose and strawberries exude the passion of two neighbouring artisans who, in their respective trades, are dedicated to creating outstanding English produce.

Liquid salted caramelsOur original sea salted caramels were invented in 2002 for Gordon Ramsay’s menu at Claridges: a sweet liquid caramel with a pinch of Noirmoutier island’s grey salt, captured in a cocoa dusted shell of intense dark chocolate. Copied since by most chocolatiers, it is still the best, we think, and one of our bestsellers.

The pure untreated grey salt, harvested by hand from clay marshes since me-dieval times, holds a wealth of minerals and trace elements that enrich its rich taste. It is the balance of flavours - sweet, saline and mineral - and of textures - crunchy, liquid and velvety - that make these salted caramels our most famous creation.

Assorted Os and fresh mints

“Nuts just take up space where chocolate ought to be.” If this unnamed quote resonates with you, then our signature O collection is felicitous. With more chocolate and less filling, our incredibly thin discs in white, milk or dark chocolate elegantly adorned with stunning patterns sheath intense soft centres from exotic fruits coulis to fresh ganaches, rich pralines, our famous liquid salted caramel and floral honey held in a precious diamante adorned box.

Thin mints composed of chocolate coated mint flavoured fondant sugar, created in 1962 in York, are traditional after-dinner treats. Our mint Os honey held in a precious diamante adorned box pay tribute to this heritage of British confectionery with a modern twist: the sugar fondant makes way for a fresh fine chocolate ganache and the mint flavour is repudiated in favour of an infusion of fresh mint leaves. Our contemporary mint Os bring elegance, balance and refinement to this classic after-dinner pleasure.

PearlsBorn from our imagination, our shimmering and sparkling chocolate pearls are the epitome of luxury. South Sea silver and gold pearls, Tahiti praline pearls, Emerald pistachio pearls or our new pecan, almonds or pine nuts sparkling pearls, all beautiful and rare, like the cocoa they enclose, bring a touch of delicious glitz and glamour to any occasion.
