Fast and immediate installation on Flower heads. Changing from fl exo to screen or to hot stamping is a matter of minutes.

Self-standing: the Ready Print Heads do not need storage area, “heavy” or dangerous unloading or downloading. The Print Head moves on wheels, and goes down on the fl ower head in seconds, with no risk and no physical effort for the operator.

Ready-to-go: Ready Print Heads use the same commands of the Flower fl exo head. No parts to change or to adjust. They are immediately available for printing.

The new Combat Converting Group is compact and effi cient, and allows for a lot of room for the hands of the operator. Slitting and die-cutting operations are fast and safe.

Each die-cutting unit and the outfeed tension roller are independently servo-driven for accurate tension and register control.

The new vertical shear-knife slitter makes set-up times of multiple rotary knifes fast and safe, with open inspection and operating area.

GIDUE I-Pressure (since 2004) reduces set up times and wastes by pre-adjusting (before printing) the print pressures based on substrate thickness. The main PC also stores the best settings for specific substrates. Start-up of jobs on Combat M3 is nearly immediate on most substrates, by using I-Pressure in combination with automated GIDUE ARC pre-register.

The new Combat M3 is the deep evolution (after year 2000), of the successful E-Combat, a true “multipurpose” workhorse for the Labels and Packaging industry. Combat M3 has been totally redesigned to keep the strong advantages of reliability and quality, adding new automation, and integrating more fl exibility and ease of operation. The Combat M3™ is one of the best solutions in the market for the production of self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, wrap around labels and fl exible packaging.

Stability during the years

Independent servo drives for print cylinders, separated drives between web transport (timing precision belts) and die-cutting (ARC-Simotion™ servo drives) keep the converting vibrations completely isolated from the printing area. This also guarantees an excellent register stability with or without automatic register control.

Combat M3 is a truly shaft-less press. The combination of servo motors and timing belts technology developed by GIDUE during the years allow for the most accurate drive, without the eventual quality decay of drive-shafts.

The special geometry of the Flower™ head prevents the mechanical wear from infl uencing the printing quality, the print cylinder is held without guides and all the tolerances are recuperated. The Flower™ fl exographic head is a miracle of simplicity and durability. Many press manufacturers have been inspired by its revolutionary approach.

A wide range of printable substrates: labels, shrink sleeves, wrap around labels, fl exible packaging.

The proven GIDUE ARC servo technology performs accurate pre-register and register control for short set-up times.

Intelligent Pressure (2004) allows for (optional) preadjustment of printing pressure, for further shorter set-up times and wastes.

For multicolour decorations, a second-pass option is available, to print a virtually unlimited number of colours.

Silk screen, cold foil, hot-stamping, coupon labels kit are easy to install, operate and remove.

The new “open rail” technology allows for easy access to the upper web converting accessories (printing on adhesive, web turn bar, unwinder, rewinder, coupon kit).

Optional IR high speed dryers for water-based inks are available.

The new “mini-short” web path with chilled drums for web temperature control, allows for reduced wastes, short set-up time, and excellent register stability.

The new “open front” structure makes access to the press and to the web the easiest in the market.

The new “open slitting” section permits the shortest set up times and the easiest access to the slitting area, with multiple slitting technologies in a “user-friendly” operating area.

PC Interface performs data storage of web tensions, print pressures for the fastest change-overs. It also performs instant remote internet service access.
