With the victory, the Blue Jackets are now 7-8-1-0 all-time against the Maple Leafs and 3-4-0-0 at Nationwide Arena. The Leafs earned victories in the first two games of the season series.

The Jackets earned 40 victories in a season for the third time in franchise history (43 in 2013-14 and 41 in 2008-09). Columbus stretched their point streak to 11 games (10-0-1), one short of the franchise record posted Feb. 26-Mar. 22,

2013 (8-0-4). They are now 13-1-1 in the last 15 games and 14-4-1 in since the beginning of March. The Blue Jackets earned their second shutout victory of the season (1-0 shootout win Dec. 16 at Detroit). It is tied for

the second largest shutout victory in club history (fourth time), trailing only a 6-0 victory Nov. 25, 2013 at Toronto. The Jackets scored a power play goal, finishing 1-of-2 against Toronto. They are 11-of-62 all-time against Toronto

(17.7%) on the power play and finished 3-of-8 in the season series (37.5%). The Blue Jackets power play is 52-of-240 on the season (21.7%) and 11-of-38 (28.9%) in the last 15 games.

Columbus killed off all four of Toronto’s power play opportunities, and have now killed off 46-of-56 power play chances in the series against the Maple Leafs all-time (80.7%), including 7-of-10 in the season series (70%). They have killed off 27 of the last 29 penalties (93.1%) dating back to Mar. 24 vs. Anaheim.

The Jackets outhit the Leafs 20 to 14. Columbus has now recorded 2,422 hits on the season (30.3 a game). The Blue Jackets are now 25-9-1 when scoring the first goal of the game while the Maple Leafs are 9-38-4 when

allowing the first goal. Columbus is 20-4-1 when leading after the first period and are 20-2-2 when leading after the second period. The Jackets have now scored at least three goals in each of the last 11 games (4.2 average). It’s the 10th time this

season they have recorded at least five goals in a game. The Blue Jackets recorded multiple goals in the opening period for the 14th time this season but it was just the second

time (four goals Mar. 27 at Chicago) that they posted at least three goals in the first 20 minutes. Columbus posted their 23rd multi-goal second period of the season and fifth time in the last seven contests. The Jackets had 12 skaters record a point as all four lines figured in on the scoring. G Sergei Bobrovsky, who stopped all 35 shots for his second shutout of the seasons and 11th of his NHL career, improved his record to 9-0-1 with a .934 save percentage and a 2.25 goals against average in the last 10 starts. The 10-game point streak is tied for the second longest of his NHL career (9-0-1; Oct. 26-Nov. 15, 2010 with Philadelphia) and one short of his personal and club record (8-0-3; Feb. 26-Mar. 22, 2013).

C Artem Anisimov picked up his seventh of the season to tie his career-best with his seventh four-game point streak (1-3-4) and second of the season (1-3-4; Mar. 19-27). He has 3-9-12 in the last 15 contests.

C Brandon Dubinsky stretched his career-best point streak to six games with his fifth multi-assist and ninth multi-point game (3-6-9) and has 9-11-20 in the last 19 games.

LW Nick Foligno recorded his 72nd point of the season (30-42-72) with an assist to stretch his point streak to five games (4-3-7) and has 7-10-17 in the last 18 games, including 6-4-10 with points in seven straight home games.

C Boone Jenner netted his eighth goal of the season and has 2-1-3 in the last six contests. C Ryan Johansen became the fourth Jacket (second this season (Foligno)) to record 70 points (26-44-70) in a single

season in club history with an assist and has 2-5-7 in the last six home games. D Jack Johnson recorded an assist and now has 8-29-37, the second most points scored in his NHL career (5-37-42 in

2010-11 with Los Angeles) and the third most in a single season in Jackets history and has 3-5-8 in the last 13 games. LW Scott Hartnell posted his 15th multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist and now has 27-31-58 in 75

games. He has scored 13 goals since the beginning of March and has 9-3-12 in the last nine home contests. C Marko Dano registered his 20th point of the season (8-12-20) with an assist and has 4-9-13 in the last 13 contests. D Ryan Murray recorded his first goal of the season in his return to the lineup after missing the last nine games with a

lower body injury. He has 3-1-4 in five career games against Toronto. LW Jeremy Morin netted his second of the season and has points in each of the last two games (1-1-2). C Mark Letestu collected his 13th point (7-6-13) with an assist and has 3-5-8 in 10 career games against the Leafs. D Cody Goloubef picked up his eighth assist of the season but first at home.
