SINCE THE DEADLINE The Jackets caught fire around the trade deadline (Feb. 26), finishing the campaign 14-4-2 in the final 20 contests (18-7-3 in final 28).The club’s 30 points since Feb. 26 was fourth-T most (Boston) while the .750 point percentage was third-T (Anaheim), only trailingWinnipeg (.775) and Nashville (.762). The Jackets led the league in goals scored and goal differential (79-56, +23) while the power playwas sixth-T (Washington) at 25.0 pct. (14-of-56). CBJ THIS SEASON The Blue Jackets won 45 of their 82 contests (45-30-7) this season with Columbus averaging 3.76 goals per game and 1.76 goalsagainst in their 45 victories (including SO goals) and allowed two goals or less in 34 of those contests, including 28 of the last 36 wins.It was the fourth time in the past five campaigns they’ve recorded 40+ wins. The 45 wins and 97 points finished as the second most inclub history (50 wins, 108 points, 2016-17). MORE BREAD Following up on his CBJ record of a regular season, Artemi Panarin has continued a strong postseason with 2-5-7 and multi-points ineach of the first three playoff games. He has, in fact, recorded multi-points in eight-straight games (4-16-20) and nine of the past 12contests (8-18-26). During the regular season, he set career highs and club records for the most assists and points in a single season(27-55-82), surpassing Ray Whitney (52 assists, 2002-03) and Rick Nash (79 points, 2008-09). DUBOIS’ DEBUT Rookie Pierre-Luc Dubois has continued his successful first season in the NHL. The 19-year old recorded two assists in his NHL debuton Apr. 12 before becoming the second-youngest player in club history to score a playoff goal on Tuesday (Werenski youngest by 26days). The rookie recorded 20-28-48 in 82 regular season games, setting franchise rookie marks for goals, points and games played.He ranked seventh-T among NHL rookies in goals and eighth in assists and points. The 2015 third overall pick has tallied 11-18-29 inhis past 34 games (reg. season/playoffs). DEADLINE DIVIDENDS The Jackets added three NHL veterans at the trade deadline, acquiring former Blue Jacket C Mark Letestu from Nashville, D Ian Colefrom Ottawa and RW Thomas Vanek from Vancouver. The club added the trio with over 2,000 games played (regularseason/postseason) of experience (2,118 prior to trades). Vanek has posting 8-9-17 in his past 18 games played. WENN JENNERATING OFFENSE The trio of LW Boone Jenner, C Alexander Wennberg and RW Thomas Vanek, were offensive producers for the Jackets late thisseason. The line has combined for 18-23-41 and a +35 rating in the last 18 games (regular season/playoffs). John Tortorella was named head coach of the Jackets on 10/21/15.  He has compiled a 575-462-138 record in 1,175 games during his NHLcoaching career with TBL, NYR, VAN and CBJ.  His teams have qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs 10 times and he led TBL to the 2004Stanley Cup championship and the NYR to the 2012 Eastern Conference Final. The Boston native won his 2nd Jack Adams Award as NHL's Coach of the Year (1st in 2003-04 w/ TBL) after leading CBJ to the best season inclub history in 2016-17 (50-24-8).
