This is a request to approve employment outside state government. As I have done for the past 17years, I have been engaged by the Psychology Department at the University ofColorado at Denver toteach an undergraduate class. The class hours are Tuesday - Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., outsidemy normal work hours. This course is for the Spring 2008 semester. If class work interferes with anyduties in my state position, those state duties are the priority.

While not a state classified employee, this request adheres to State Personnel Board Rule 1-14addressing outside employment.Please let me know ifyou have any questions or concerns related to this request.
