Colombia is a tropical country of incredible diversity and charm. It is an popular touristic destination and it offers great contrasts, ranging from Caribbean beaches to Andean mountaintops and dense Amazon rainforests in the far south. Colombia is the second most diverse country on the planet. The country offers five different geographic contexts with its own landscape, fauna and flora. Standing at an impressive 3160 meters, the church is a popular pilgrimage point that gives tourists a fantastic view of Colombia’s sprawling capital city. You can reach the church using a funicular railway that is easily accessible from the city’s center. Barranquilla is a city located in northern Colombia, near the Caribbean Sea. It is also the main river and sea port of the country.
