Clover Clubs, Be sure to turn in your paperwork or have the members enroll in 4-H Online.
We have a new Clover Club starting in Libertyville. Contact Casey Smith for more information.
The Prom Dress Event came to an end on March 23. We had 4 complete days of open house, plus a few viewings privately. Overall, the event was a success. We sold approximately 35 dresses and accessories. We had over 100 dresses in the event. We broke even on the event, but considering this is only the 2nd time such an event has been attempted, it went incredibly well. We had a lot of shoppers, a lot of good feedback and requests if we would try it again next year. That is a very strong
possibility!

Looking for a great opportunity for your club?! The Little Hands on the Farm exhibit provides children 2-10 the chance to experience agriculture on this mock farm. In order for the exhibit to run smoothly it needs 30 volunteers at the exhibit at all times. Volunteers would receive one admission ticket, one vehicle permit and a Little Hands on the Farm volunteer t-shirt! If you
are interested in getting you club involved, please contact Emily Brewer at 515-262-3111, ext 244 or at [email protected]

It’s that time of year again! As a leader, you should have received a packet in the mail about the 4-Her’s for 4-H Campaign. Club Donation Forms and contributions can be sent directly to the Iowa 4-H Founda-tion or delivered to county offices by May 15. If you have a preference, please communicate it to your club leaders.
Why support this campaign? Approximately one-third of the funds support the State 4-H Council program, which in turn provides the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference experience for your 8-12
th grade 4-H’ers. Almost
half of the funds are distributed back to 4-H members in the counties in the form of scholarships for out-of-county 4-H experiences and financial assistance to help cover program development fee costs. There were 86 counties that participated in last year’s campaign. The State 4-H Council would like to increase participation by at least six more counties. Thank you in advance for supporting them and their efforts “to make the best better!”
