When talking about traditional Irish clothing, a lot of people think of the kilt. However, the kilt is associated with Scotland, and was never worn by the Irish. Ireland had a similar version, but it was called a brat.

FRANCE

The Paris Fashion Week takes place twice a year after the Milan Fashion Week. It is the last and generally the most anticipated city of fashion month.

Dates are determined by the French Fashion Federation.

Currently, the Fashion Week is held in the Carrousel du Louvre, which is an underground shopping mall in Paris.

Many of the major French fashion brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Lacroix, are currently headquartered in Paris.

Lyon is known as the silk capital of the world. It is the second biggest city in France.

Marseille is the third largest city of France and the principal port of the country, making the city the principal port of Europe and Mediterranean Sea.

The city is affectionately called "The Old Lady of the Mediterranean" or "The City of the Contrasts" for excellence the city has enjoyed its position on the continent being a fluvial port with ships full of fashion products.

CHINA

Chinese clothing is clothing, ancient and modern, which the Chinese people wore. Chinese clothing has varied by region and time, and is recorded by the artefacts and arts of Chinese culture.

USA

Fashion norms have changed greatly from decade to decade. The United States has generally followed and in some cases led trends in the history of Western fashion. It has some unique regional clothing styles, such as western wear.

The country is also home to the headquarters of many leading designer labels such as Ralph Lauren, Victoria secret and Calvin Klein.

ITALY

Fashion has always been an important part of the country's cultural life and society, and Italians are well known for their attention of dressing-up well; "la bella figura", or good impression, remains traditional in the Italian way of living!

Milan, Florence and Rome are the main cities of fashion in Italy.
