Objectives:

“Weather”, cartoon “Frozen Olaf”, paper, glue.

PROCEDURE

I. Greeting

T: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I’m glad to see you. We have an unusual lesson today.

As you see, there are a lot of guests in our classroom. So turn around and greet our guests.

Let’s start our work with a greeting song. (video song “Hello!”)

(Students sing the song)

How are you feeling today? Take your “Mood Bears”, choose a suitable face. Ask your friend.

(Students ask and answer –How are you? - I am …)

T: Well, I’m glad, that you are fine and I hope you will be energetic and active at the lesson.

II. Aim

Today at the lesson, we are going to speak about … What will we talk about?

Today we’ll revise the vocabulary (words), play games, sing and dance, speak and listen, write

and read. By the end of the lesson we will make a project “Clothes we wear at any weather”.

III. Phonetic Drill

T: The British people say: ”There is no bad weather, there are bad clothes”.

To begin with, let’s repeat the names of the clothes. Watch the cartoon, listen to the names of the

clothes and repeat them. Pay attention on the sounds. Let’s play “Echo” game.

(Students watch a video “Clothes” (vocabulary) and repeat the words)

T: Great! It’s time for “Clapping” game. Clap and name the clothes. Try not to repeat the names

of the clothes.

(Students clap and name the clothes)

IV. Warming up

T: As you know, there are clothes for boys and there are clothes for girls. Look at the clothes

line, choose suitable one and say who wears it.

(Students say –Boys wear caps.

-Girls wear dresses. Etc)

T: Let’s make a conclusion.

(Students make a conclusion- what the boys wear; what the girls wear.)

T: Well done. There are clothes for boys and there are clothes for girls. But there are clothes for

boys and girls.

V. Practice

But I like summer more. When it is sunny and hot I put on my summer hat and sunglasses. I like my clothes.

AUTUMN, WINTER. Take the sweet from the helmet. Green is for spring, red is for summer,

yellow is for autumn, white is for winter. Take your seats according to the colour of your sweets.

SPRING- The weather is cool, sunny and rainy.

SUMMER – The weather is hot and sunny.

AUTUMN – The weather is cold, windy, rainy and muddy.

WINTER – The weather is frosty and snowy.
