Pavaso eNotary Registration Process Outline To be able to eNotarize on Pavaso, you must complete the Pavaso eNotary registration process. The process consists of a number of steps that you, your company administrator and a Pavaso support specialist will have to complete for you to become an approved eNotary on Pavaso.

Step 1 – Accessing the Notary Screen A. Sign in to your Pavaso account on portal.pavaso.com.

B. Hover over your name at the top right-hand corner and select My Profile in the drop down.

C. In the My Profile screen, choose Notary from the menu on the left-hand side.

Step 2 – Selecting the States You Will be eNotarizing in A. Select the state(s) you will be using Pavaso to eNotarize closing documents and then select Next.

Any state selected will be highlighted in blue.




B. In the next screen, select Next to verify the states you selected.

Note: Depending on your state selection(s) and the eNotary enabled states available on the platform, there may be states you selected that you will not be able to eNotarize in. A notification will generate detailing which states you can eNotarize on Pavaso and which you cannot. Even if one or more states are not yet available for eNotarization on Pavaso, select Next to proceed with the next steps of the registration process for the states enabled for eNotarization on Pavaso.




Step 3 – Notary Billing Information Now you will be able to request to be associated with the company you will be eNotarizing closing documents for. A. Under the Notary Billing Information tab, select the Add New button.

B. In the Add New Billing pop-up, select Sending billing request to a company and then Continue.




C. You will then be prompted to enter the name of the company you will be associated with. As you type, possible matches will appear as a drop-down to select from. Select your company and then select Continue.

D. Select Yes in the next pop-up.




Step 4 – Billing Request Pending When your request is sent, it must be approved by your company administrator before you can continue and submit your notary information. The company administrator will be notified that there is a pending eNotary billing request. Once your eNotary request has been approved by the company administrator, you will be notified via email.

In the Notary Billing Information tab, the Billing Status will change from Pending to Approved. This verifies that you have been associated with the company and you can now provide your notary information.

Step 5 – Adding Your Notary Information A. Under the Notary Information tab, complete the required fields.

B. When finished select Next.




Step 6 – Adding Your Notary Commission Information A. Under the Notary Commission Information tab, select Add New Commission.

B. Enter the commission information exactly as it appears on your notary seal and select Next.

C. Review the information you entered and select Next to verify the accuracy.




Step 7 – Completing the Pavaso Notary Form A. In the next pop-up, select the Print Notary Form link to print the Pavaso Notary Affidavit of Identification

form.

B. The form auto-populates the information you previously entered under the Notary Information tab and your

Notary Commission Information. On the printed form, sign your name in the Signature of Applicant box, apply your notary stamp, and have another state-certified notary notarize the form. To complete the form, place your driver’s license on the designated box and scan the filled form back into your computer in a PDF format. Note: You may not notarize your own signature.




Note: If you are not able to complete the form right away, you can sign out from your account and come back later to finish. The next time you login, you will need to complete step 6 again. Once step 6 has been completed, you will see the pop-up that will allow you to import the form into Pavaso.

C. Select the first Import button and navigate to the folder you have saved the completed form to upload it.

D. You will see the name of your uploaded file next to the Import button. Select Next to continue.




E. In the next pop-up, scroll down to verify that your information is correct and then select Submit.

Note: If needed, you can adjust how your notary seal will appear in the preview window. Select the Crop notary seal and in the next pop-up, use the square to adjust the height and width and crop out any extra white space. Then select Crop and Save.




Step 8 – Pavaso Approval Process Once all the above steps have been completed, your submission will be reviewed by a Pavaso support specialist. The Status under the Notary Commission Information tab will show as Pending.

If your request is urgent, or if you have an inquiry regarding your submission, please email [email protected]. You will receive an email notification once your registration has been approved. The status will change to Active.
