iPhone 6: Bigger, Badder, Better?
Seussical the Musical!
By: Gina Gilsdorf
Mrs. Fischer has been working with the sophomores on their golfing skills. The class
learned different ways to grip their golf clubs and when to use which clubs. They spent
their PE hours at the golf course all of last week where they participated in many compe-
titions. Some students I interviewed say they even enjoyed learning the “golfers clap.”

The new iPhone 6 is “bigger than bigger!” It is really thin and has a bigger screen. The iPhone 6 is 4.7
inches and the iPhone 6 plus is 5.5 inches. It is very power efficient and has a Retina HD display. The back is
a nice smooth metal surface. You can get them in three different colors: silver, gold, and gray.
While many people were looking forward to upgrading, the iPhone 6 has
developed a reputation for bending in your pocket because they are made of alu-
minum. Some students such as Shane Schmitz had already preordered, but can-
celed because who needs a warped phone?
Apple also released the new IOS 8. It has new capabilities and functions
that let you do almost anything you can think of like using Siri to control the de-
vices in your home or using health and fitness apps to communicate with your
doctor. Students might like that it has word prediction capabilities and that it can
take selfies on a timer

CGB is bringing Seussical to Clinton on November 14, 15 and 16.
Seussical is a musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss that debuted on Broadway in
2000, and features many of Seuss's most famous books like Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who and Oh, The Places You’ll Go! Some of the major characters are Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, The
Cat in the Hat, JoJo, Mayzie LaBird and the Sour Kangaroo. With so many fans of the
Dr. Seuss, books, and because this musical has never been played here at CGB, you
know this may be the most well-attended musical yet. As Dr. Seuss says, “These things
are fun and fun is good.”

over CTF (3-2) and Ortonville! They also had a tournament on Saturday 27 in Parkers Prairie which didn’t
result in a win, but they are geared up for tonight’s match in Hancock! Monday will be Parent’s Night at home
against West Central.
Tennis season has come to an end. Hannah performed excellently during her busy

Boy Athlete of the Week: Zak Adelman By: Hannah Breeggemann
Zak Adelman is this week’s athlete of the week! He is #21 on the field and the diamond. He is a
pitcher in baseball and also, the shortstop. In football, he is the running back and the linebacker. He has been
doing well this year, had to sit out a couple of games due to a broken finger and was back for the B-E game.
I am known for . . . Playing hard!
My favorite sports idol is . . . Adrian Peterson
My favorite sports moment . . . Going to State for football
The game I’m looking forward to is . . . Friday because I
get to play again
My favorite sports to play are . . . Football and baseball
We all know that Zak Adelman loves football, so it is obvious his favorite ath-
lete would need to love football too. Controversial newsmaker Adrian Peterson was
born in Palestine, Texas to athletic parents. His brother was killed by a drunk driver at
age 9 and Peterson took out his pain through sports; that’s when he be-
came interested in football.
Peterson, also known as AP, is a running back for the Minnesota Vikings who was draft-
ed by the Vikes in 2007. Peterson previously played college football at Oklahoma where he set
the NCAA freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards and finished his college career as the
Sooners third all-time leading rusher.
Peterson was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was invited to the Pro
Bowl. Peterson has received many awards and broken many records he was NFL offensive
player of the Year in the 2012 NFL season.

Boys Sports Summary By: Dalton Nilson
The Wolverines take on Verndale at home tomorrow on a high from their fourth quarter victory over
B-E at last week’s away game. They won a really close one with a score of 22-20. The Wolverines were down
by 2 touchdowns coming into the 4th quarter and they came back to win the game. There were a lot of turno-
vers in the 4th quarter.
It’s a great time for fall football as the junior high team has a game today against Hancock at home in
Graceville.
The cross country team has been running really hard. They have a meet today in Sisse-
ton. They are coming off of a really long break between the Ortonville meet and
today’s meet and are rested up and ready to run. Their next meet after today’s is
on Monday in Henning. The rest of their schedule will include the Wheaton
meet on October 13 and the Section meet in New London-Spicer on Thursday,
October 23.

Ouija
Jokes and Riddles By: Sam Bauer
Trailer Park Boys By: Stephanie Findlay By: Mike Mckee
Netflix favorite Trailer Park Boys has 15
seasons of Canadian fun with episodes revolving
around Ricky, Julian and Bubbles, and their ac-
complices, Cory and Trevor who are all trying to
make money through petty crimes, while avoiding
being caught by the police. Their schemes are com-
plicated by the interference of trailer-park-
supervisor Jim Lahey, and his shirtless assistant,
Randy.
Many of their early schemes collapse into
failure, but later seasons change this formula with
some of the boys' schemes succeeding, and their
futures looking optimistic. Just when things seems
to be looking up, the next season's premiere epi-
sode shows them sheepishly explaining how every-
thing went wrong for them in the interim, thus
bringing the
story back to
square-one,
re-setting the
cycle.
Ouija is a horror movie set to be released on
October 24, the Friday before Halloween! After a
friend is brutally killed in an accident, a group of
friends must confront their most terrifying fears when
they awaken the dark powers on an ancient spirt
board by attempting to contact their dead friend.
They realize that the Ouija Board is not just a game;
it’s real life. If you love scary
movies, this is the one for you!
This movie is rated PG
-13 for disturbing violent con-
tent, frightening horror images
and thematic material. Ouija
may be the perfect movie for
Halloween!
In case you don’t
know, a lot of people believe
you really can contact spirits
with a Ouija board. Don’t try
this at home, just go to the
movie!
