* MONDAY WEAR HIKING CLOTHES & SHOES YOU DON’T MIND GETTING WET (OPTIONAL) SWIMSUIT, TOWEL AND CHANGE OF CLOTHES 9:00 Meet at Barton Creek at Loop 360 (see directions) 9:00-‐9:45 Welcome, introduction to a watershed, and scavenger hunt Instructions 9:45-‐11:30 Scavenger hunt nature hike to a cave and spring 11:30-‐12:00 Cool off in spring/ hike back TUESDAY WEAR WATER SHOES or BOOTS. (OPTIONAL) SWIMSUIT, TOWEL, CHANGE OF CLOTHES, AND FISHING GEAR 9:00 Meet at St. Edwards Park (see directions) 9:15-‐9:30 Hike to creek 9:30-‐11:00 Wade into the creek and find bugs that tell us about water quality 11:00-‐12:00 Swimming/hiking (optional) WEDNESDAY WEAR OLD CLOTHES AND CLOSE-‐TOED SHOES OR WATER SHOES, BRING PFD if you own one 9:00 Meet at Festival Beach Park Boat Ramp on Ladybird Lake (see directions) 9:00-‐12:00 Lady Bird Lake ecology boat tour, recycling activity with Keep Austin

CLEAN CREEK CAMP DIRECTIONS Session A: June 8-11, 2015
Day 1: Loop 360 Access to Barton Creek Greenbelt (between Mopac and Lamar) Directions: � Travel to Loop 360 at Mopac. � Turn at the light on Loop 360 between S. Lamar and Mopac (just east of Mopac; the
back entrance to Brodie Oaks shopping center). � The Greenbelt parking lot is located to the left in the trees next to the big red brick
building. Please follow clean creek camp signs to parking. WEAR HIKING CLOTHES (& SWIMSUIT IF YOU PLAN TO GET WET).

Day 2: St. Edwards Park on Bull Creek, 7301 Spicewood Springs Rd. Directions:
� From highway 360 (between 2222 and 183), take Spicewood Springs Road NORTHWEST (between Lakewood Dr and Spicewood Springs East). Spicewood Springs East goes up a steep hill (WRONG WAY!)
� Go approximately 2 miles. After the FIFTH creek crossing, look for the ST. EDWARDS PARK sign.
� Park in the parking lot on the left side of the street. WEAR WATER SHOES. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SWIM AFTERWARDS, WEAR YOUR BATHING SUIT AND BRING A TOWEL. Day 3: Festival Beach Park Boat Ramp on Lady Bird Lake
From IH35: Exit Riverside and get on the I-35 access Rd on the east side of the highway. After crossing the lake, take the first right onto Nash Hernandez Sr Rd. Follow the road and park near the intersection of Nash Hernandez and Chicon St. Walk east to the boat ramp. WEAR OLD CLOTHES AND CLOSE-TOED SHOES OR WATER SHOES, BRING LIFE VESTS IF YOU HAVE THEM

Day 4: Green Classroom at Becker Elementary, 1701 Briar St. From IH-35: Go west on Riverside. Turn left on Barton Springs Rd. Turn south (left) on Bouldin Avenue. Travel a few blocks to W. Milton. Turn right. The Green Classroom is located on the corner of W. Milton and Briar St. (house across the street from Becker Elementary).
From Mopac: Take the Bee Cave/Rollingwood Exit. Get on the northbound access road to Mopac. The northbound access road to Mopac curves west and becomes Barton Springs Road. Travel past Lamar to the first light at Bouldin Avenue. Turn south (right) on Bouldin and travel a few blocks to W. Milton. Turn right. The Green Classroom is located on the corner of W. Milton and Briar St. (house across the street from Becker).
