Canyon Creek water-lovers can choose to participate twice each week in our water program held at Castaic Lake. Camp vans leave in the morning and return back to camp in the late afternoon. WATER ACTIVITIES
Wakeboarding Innertubing Swimming Fishing Water-skiing Waverunners
All campers are required to wear life vests while in the water and on the boats. Campers are supervised by camp counselors and waterfront specialists. Our ratio of counselors to campers while at the lake is one to three and all waterfront specialists are First Aid, CPR and lifeguard certified.
SAFETY
WAVERUNNERS
Campers of all ages get to enjoy the waverunners! Anyone can ride a waverunner as long as they hold on tight. Our drivers come from all over the world and go through a rigorous training program to guarantee that campers have an awesome, thrilling ride!
WAKEBOARDING
Whether it is a camper's very first time at the sport or they are a seasoned veteran, our staff members have varied wakeboarding skills to accommodate every child's needs. We can teach kids how to get up, jump the wake, or even a few tricks!
INNERTUBING
Campers looking for excitement can grab a bunk mate and hang on! Our professional tube drivers take pairs of campers on a wild ride while they try not to fall off. Tubing is one of the favorite activities at camp every year!
SWIMMING
With all the extreme water activities, we still make time for our favorite past time – SWIMMING! The lake water is a great temperature and some amazing memories can be made while simply playing in the water!
SUMMARY
Canyon Creek Summer Camp provides a safe, non-competitive environment where boys and girls build confidence and independence, learn teamwork and
develop problem-solving skills. It is one of California’s premiere resident summer camps.
