Bentley has a Records Management Server that works with ProjectWise content. It supports the DoD 5015.2 Standards for Records Management, but these standards were more than GDOT required.The solution (in progress) is to add some document retention and disposition functionality to ProjectWise.

Retention FunctionalityThe following functionality will be implemented by developing commands using the ProjectWise API:• Set Retention – via Controlled Attributes (TPRO)• Notification of project closure• Apply Retention Policy – Sets Final Status on documents• Modify Retention Policy – Modify, Remove and set Legal Hold• Report on projects due for destruction• Generate Destruction Form• Delete Project Documents • Report on projects that have been destroyed
