Donations Update

At the end of August, the donations for the window replacement project fund totaled about $47,000. Windows have been replaced in the cafeteria, in the gym, and part of the front of the school. Some alum have specified which windows that they want replaced which is why not all sections are being replaced at the same time.

To All Holy Family Alumni and Friends,

Over the years, I continue to reflect on how much Holy Family is and was a big part of my life and that of my family. We have been very blessed and fortunate to have received the quality education and principals given to us by our priests, caring nuns and lay teachers.

I know many of you have given back in many ways to further our great heritage. Being one of the last surviving Lumley HFS grads (except Martha Farrell Lumley class of ‘48), I wanted to do something in their memory as well in a small way help preserve what we have all shared.

In reading the letter from Father Noe regarding the windows needed for the school, I thought maybe this was a way of accomplishing that thank you.

I challenge the class and families of the class of 1944 (Rose Mary Lumley) that I will match up to $5,000.00 for donations to the window fund.

I challenge the class and families of the class of 1948 (George and Martha Farrell Lumley) that I will do the same match.

I will do the same for the class of 1954 (Alice Lumley) and my class of 1962 (Tom Lumley).

This challenge is open until December 2017, or God willing, the windows are funded before then.

God Bless,

Tom Lumley
