MATERIALS

ABS stands for a prized termopolymer obteined from the combination of the three monomers: Acrylonitrile, which is imparts thermal stability and chemical resistance; the butadiene, which increases the impact resistance, and Styrene, conferring rigidity.

It’s a technical material with high performances, with excellent mechanical characteristics and resistance to medium temperature ( 110 C°). It’s recyclable. It has excellent technical properties: it’s a light, rigid material, also strong to low temperatures. The use of this material guarantees a high reduction thermal and sound transmittance value.

ABS is more valuable and innovative than the polyamide and also is not hygroscopic.

STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATIONS OF FRAME WITH ABSStructural sealing system have been tested and tested some localized areas;Phase 1: Bending stresses on a two dimensional section were considered the composition of aluminium profiles ABS.Phase 2: Test the localized tightness of aluminium ABS snaps fingers-ABS.Phase 3: This is warhead in its maximum size at a pressure of 2000Pa.All tests have expressed positive results.

External profiles are made by extrusion of aluminium EN-AW6060-T6 with shims and dimensional tollerances complying with UNI EN 12020-2-2008. They are treated with powder- coated finish, or W RAL, metallic and wood color. The link between the aluminium profiles and intermediate profiles in ABS is accomplished through proper seat use to accomodate the joint created on ABS profile. Outdoor aluminium profiles and intermediate assembly in ABS is made with mechanic rolling to enure imporoved creep resistance.

HF LAMINATED WOOD (HYPERFLEX)

The HF laminated of fir/pine wood, is a high tensile sytenthetic decorative wood due to it’s great flexibility. It’s ideal for cladding profiles and hooves. You don’t need an additional step of painitng because the good resistance and decorative appearance HF are already sufficient to protect the surface of the product and to maintain a condition of stability over time as well as looks aesthetically really appreciable.

ALUMINIUM

Solid wood profiles are made with selected materials with proper drying, treated with light-fast colours and UV, and protected with antiseptics. Finishing is accomplished with opaque polyurethane products with a high degree safety about the whole development of the profile. The joints at the corners of the wood are performed by 45° cut, glued with waterproof and stainless steel staples for hardwoods or double groove shaped at dovetail for soft woods. Alternatively, there are junctions with 90° cutting wood ( Granduca Hp Line) glued with water repellent steel are inner tie rod to rewforce the joint.

SOLID WOOD

GASKETS

External gasket (1) realized in expanded EPDM is available in different colors: black, brown and white. Connection base to EPDM profile is black.

External glass gasket (2) in expanded EPDM, is available in different colors: black, brown and white. Material doesn’t create a visual obstruction. Connection base to EPDM profile is black, and also, gasket’s extension has been planned for improving product’s thermal insulation.

Open joint central gasket (3) is realized in solid elaprene (thermoplastic elastomer) is available in different colors: brown and white. Its alveolar structure has been planned for improve thermal holding. The same has been realized in vulcanized frames with a continuous insertion, without any cut junction. Central gasket is prepared for cover fixing screws. Central gasket with a sormonto of 5,2 mm for a major tolerance. Central gasket connection on frame happens in 2 points.

Internal gaskets (4) is realized in EPDM and is available in different colors: black, brown and white. Connection base to EPDM profile is in black color.

Granduca HP and Marchese HP products the internal PVC gasket (5) is available in black, brown, avory and transparent. It allows a great adherence.

Granduca HP Line and Look windows have a concealed bio-adhesive tape (6) that is black.

DRAINAGE. HOLDING. VENTILATION

Windows are characterized by a holding system said open joint, guaranteed by a central holding gasket. On all frames, fixed or openable, are made necessary works in order to guarantee water drainage round glasses and rapid compensation of humidity derived by air, inside containment chamber of sheets.

Frame slots allow a controlled water unloading, if it could appear in inclined frame’s quarry. Outside framing slots are protected with special cover slots black or white. In fixed double-glazing frame, airing slots of containment area of double-glazing allow to unload humidity.

Aluminium-ABS frame profile have transversal walls slightly inclined for facilitating drainage towards outside.

Drainage slots of containment area of double-glazing allow to unloading condensation. Opening towards outside is deflected of 20-50 mm in comparison to that of inclined quarry.

INSULATION GLAZING

Ug still 0.7Class version windows guarantee the best installation of the insulation glazing which can be almost 35 mm thick. Windows have an insulation glazing 4BE-24-6/7 instead doors have an in insulation glazing 6/7-22-BE6/7.For Line and Look versions, profiles guarantee the best adherence with a maximum of 28 mm thick. Windows has an insulation glazing 4-18-BE6/7.For all these products the insulation glazing have Argon Gas and a thermal spacer.

Supports are realized in order to facilitate drainage and ventilation.

The insulatin gasket is realized by using TPE.

The window-fixture with symmetric profile presents a perfect proportion between sashes. This is synonymous of harmony among shapes and dimensions.
