Since growing up on a dairy farm in rural Australia, she has travelled extensively, venturing off the beaten track in over 60 countries through the Middle East, South America, Africa and Asia and relocated around the world several times with her husband and four children. She worked for three

years in Papua New Guinea and over a decade in the USA, moving back to Australia in 2012. She is also an Ambassador for ‘Beyond Blue’, strongly committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
