GREAT STRENGTHWith car-like roadholding and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)as standard, Nemo is designed to keep you out of danger inall conditions. A robust outer shell, deep bumpers and up totwo airbags keep you and your passenger protected fromevery angle. For added safety, Nemo’s on-board computer also has a programmable over speed warning system, which alerts you with an alarm and on-screen message if you go over your pre-set speed.

LITTLE IMPACT As any urban business driver knows, small nicks andscrapes can make a huge dent in the bottom line – so Nemo uses some clever engineering to reduce the fi nancial impact.The front headlamps are high up to avoid contact, whilst the front bumper is reinforced by a steel safety bar to protect the engine from light knocks. To protect the rear there’s also the option of parking sensors, which activate automatically when in reverse.

BULKHEADSA steel half-height bulkhead with upper mesh grille (B) can be fi tted as an option onall Nemo vans. This separates the load compartment from the cabin and provides substantial protection for the driver and passenger, even when carrying a varietyof small items.

Other options include a full steel bulkhead*, which forms a complete and secure barrier between the load space and the cabin area. Coupled with the unglazed rear doors, the full steel bulkhead provides excellent security for the cargo, hiding it from prying eyes.

For Nemo vans fi tted with optional glazed rear doors with heated rear window and wash-wipe, a full steel bulkhead with inset window (C) is an option. This bulkhead offers similar load-stopping capability to the full steel bulkhead, with a window to optimise rear visibility.

SLIDING SIDELOADING DOORFor really fast work andeasy access, these doors are a must. A nearside sliding side door is standard on LX models (optional on X),a second offside door is an option on both models.

HIGH-PRESSURE DIRECTINJECTION DIESEL ENGINEOur HDi diesel engines operate with the fuel under

extremely high pressure, enabling microscopically precise

injection control. With this level of management it’s possible

to inject at different times during the same engine stroke

allowing total control over the combustion process.

This has allowed our engineers to reduce carbon monoxide

emissions by 40%, unburned hydrocarbons by 50% and

engine particulates by 60%. Fuel consumption is 20% lower

than a prechamber diesel engine, resulting in an equivalent

reduction in CO2 emissions and thanks to the torque available

at low engine speed it could be argued that driveability is now

better than in petrol engined cars.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKINGSYSTEM (ABS)Computer-controlled braking assistance designed to prevent

the wheels from locking under extreme braking. This enables

the vehicle to continue being steered and therefore controlled

during this braking incident.

GUIDE-ME-HOME HEADLAMPSParking in the evening or in a poorly lit car park is made easier

with Citroën’s ‘guide-me-home’ system. On locking the vehicle

the headlights stay on for a few seconds to allow you time to

get to your front door or garage exit with suffi cient illumination

to navigate your way safely.

ON-BOARD TRIP COMPUTERNemo’s multi-function trip computer provides you with

information at your fi ngertips. At the touch of a button you can

view a range of data like fuel consumption, average speed and

mileage possible at your current fuel level. Nemo also allows

you to set a speed limit with a warning tone sounding when

it is exceeded.

EXTENSO®

The EXTENSO® folding passenger seat enables the load

length of Nemo to be increased to 2491mm, a gain of more

than 950mm.

This enables you to confi gure your passenger seat

in three positions:

Seat - for the transportation of a passenger,

Table - to accommodate your various documents.

Fully folded - for the transportation of long objects.
