5.0 Transition Guide

● Universal App Experience

● Better access to CRM data

● Powerful Analytics

● Easier onboarding process

● New features and more on the way!

Why we’ve changed

Sales and Support professionals have a difficult job. In the last few years, organizations have adopted more tools to try to help simplify our lives. But having more apps doesn’t always lead to a simpler experience.

We want to truly make CRM a one-screen experience: Email + CRM together.

With that in mind, we set out to build a new app that would be more powerful and easier to learn and to use.

Universal Experience

● Cirrus Insight shares a single user experience across all platforms: Gmail, Outlook, iOS, and Android.

● Navigate to any Salesforce record and view that record’s related lists.

Powerful Analytics

● Full-screen experience allows users to take advantage of tracking data.

● Detailed Email Tracking reporting makes prospect activity (or inactivity) immediately actionable.

Easier Onboarding

● Cirrus Insight 5.0 requires a separate browser extension.

● The new extension includes all of the permissions that users on 4.x have to grant individually, improving adoption and reducing opportunity for user error.

● A separate browser extension allows organizations to plan their transition to 5.0.

New FeaturesMy ListsAccess any list view from Salesforce tabs in order to streamline your workflow.

New Record from AnywhereCreate any kind of record at any time -- not just a lead or a contact when you open an email.

Inbox AppsInbox Apps available on every type of object AND on Cirrus Insight Mobile!

Getting Ready for the new

Cirrus used to have icons on the left side of the sidebar. Users would click the Opportunities tab, for example, to see the Opportunities related to the Contact in the sidebar.

Now, there are four tabs for EVERY record you see in the sidebar: Snapshot, Details, Related, and Inbox Apps.

Orgs that work heavily with accounts, opportunities, and custom objects will see huge productivity increases from the ability to navigate through Salesforce more easily.

In the top right corner of every email, Cirrus used to have a ‘swoosh button’ to add an inbound email to Salesforce and a radar button to see email tracking information.

Now, the email tracking information is front and center and the ‘swoosh button’ has been replaced by an “Add to Salesforce” button. This will reduce the number of clicks to engage with these features.

Email TrackingGetting Ready

Your Email Tracking statistics used to be in the sidebar.

Now, there’s a separate tab with your email tracking analytics.

This will give you detailed full-screen statistics around your open rate, click rate, reply rate, and performance of individual emails.

The settings themselves haven’t changed, but we’ve made it easier to find what you’re looking for - and possibly discover features you didn’t know about!

You’ll now open settings by clicking the gear icon in our toolbar.

New Features

My ListsNew Features

Previously, you could see all the tasks assigned to you in the My Tasks tab. They’re still there, and we’ve added more!

Now, you can see the list views you have set up for Tasks, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Accounts in the My Lists tab. You won’t have to jump to Salesforce to work through your lists.

Cirrus Insight has always made it easy to create Leads, Contacts, and Accounts related to an email.

Now you can also create a record from anywhere by hitting the orange + button. Admins can choose which records they want their users to be able to create.
