storage The circuit ---breakers aredispatched in the open position,with the operating mechanismdeactivated.

Store the devices in their originalpacking.

prolonged storage In the case of prolongedstorage, the device must remainin its original packing.

After prolonged storage,all insulating parts must bethoroughly cleaned prior to use.The enclosure must be dustedusing a clean, dry cloth.

unpacking and handling H Unpack equipment at theinstallation site.H Avoid chocks.

Caution: on the LF3 and LFP,the centre of gravity is shiftedon the enclosure side.

Dismantle the wooden uprights oneach side of the crate as well asthe iron parts (yellow), 8 screws.These parts must be discarded.

Lift the assembly, then dismantlethe rest of the crate.

All the operations described belowmust be performed in accordancewith applicable safety standardsunder the supervision of acompetent authority.

Serial connect the three phases ofthe device and insert a bell typeindicator in the circuit.

Charge the operating mechanismuntil you hear a click indicatingcharging is complete.

Exert pressure on the lever and atthe same time pull the right---handcrank handle towards you until theratchet wheel is latched.

At the same time press the closing“ l ” pushbutton and the charginglever in order to release thelatching mechanism.

Very slowly close thecircuit ---breaker using the lever.Stop charging as soon as thelamp comes on: the arcingcontacts of the three phases are incontact.

CAUTION

Keep the lever in this position, withthe bell activated.If the position is overshot, repeatthe operation.

When the lamp is on, a rod with adiameter less than or equal to 6mm can be inserted in the holeshown above.For larger diameters, absence ofsignal means the device must bereplaced.

Stick (SR 270 strong loctite) andscrew the HM6 length 12, class12.9 stud in the yellow column onthe tool mark side .Stick (SR 270 strong loctite) andscrew the new column equippedwith the stud into the operatingmechanism column.

To fit the gear motor, raise the rat-chet wheel as far as it will go andlock it using the screwdriver.Should a ratchet catch in the rat-chet wheel, it will prevent this ope-ration.

Raise the motor ratchet wheel asfar as it will go and lock it using thescrewdriver.

Insert the gear motor, taking carenot to remove screw G so as not tolose spacer H placed between thetwo flanges.

Fit the screws class 10.9 (stickusing SR 270 strong loctite) andsecure the gear motor assemblyto a torque of 13 Nm.
