VISION STATEMENTThe Phipps Center for the Arts will be a leader in attracting artists and patrons through an eclectic mix of creating, producing, presenting, and exhibiting artistic expression. Educational offerings will welcome persons of all skill levels to explore the arts. Programming will take place at the center and at sites throughout the region. Talented artists, loyal attendees, enthusiastic volunteers, and generous contributors will support this exemplary nonprofit organization.

THE MIGHTY WURLITZER THEATER PIPE ORGANThe organ, opus 2131, with a three-manual console, 16 ranks of pipes, six tuned percussions, as well as sound effects, is used for concerts and accompanying silent films.

MEMBERSHIPAny person who makes a monetary contribution during the current membership year of January 1– December 31 is a member, entitled to appropriate rights and privileges.

MAIL ORDERSOrders by mail are accepted when accompanied by check or any credit card number and expiration date. There is a $5.00 processing fee for all mail orders of two or more tickets. GROUP RATESSpecial discounts for most Theater Series productions are available for groups of 20 or more.

CHILDRENAs a courtesy to other patrons, children under five years old are not allowed at most Phipps productions.

WHEELCHAIR SEATINGThe center has been designed to accommodate patrons in wheelchairs. All areas are accessible by elevator.

FAMILY RESTROOMThere is a family restroom in the northwest corner of the first floor of the center, adjacent to the elevator. It features a 6’ x 9’ stall for patrons in wheelchairs as well as a changing table for infants.

TICKET POLICYA fee will be charged for all exchanged tickets. Unused tickets may be returned for a tax-deductible donation receipt. Purchase with confidence, ticket exchange and refund options will be made available for any canceled shows due to COVID-19.

BAD WEATHER POLICYThe Phipps maintains a firm policy of presenting performances regardless of the weather. There will be no refunds for regularly scheduled performances that are given during inclement weather.

LISTENING ASSISTANCEAssistive listening devices may be obtained from the house manager with identification. Headsets are distributed free, subject to availability.

AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORAn automatic external defibrillator is available in the volunteer office.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURESIn case of fire, you will be directed to the nearest exit. In case of severe weather, please stay in your seat unless directed otherwise.
