Benefits of This Site Update• More Site Presence and Performance

– Each UCA member site will have its own URL and brand– All sites will have graphic design treatment– Re-hosted to dedicated server for better performance

• More Detailed User Account Management – Using Forms-Based Authentication (FBA) – Expanded configurability of Users, Roles, Groups, and Permissions– Cleaner implementation of Sharepoint security architecture

• Better User Experience– Multi-level, security-trimmed tab navigation– Password retrieve/reset– Content subscribe/unsubscribe– Starting point for better member communications

• Improved Document Searchability– Knowledge Base and Calendar Roll-Up to consolidate key documents– More metadata about documents

• Adding Missing Functionality– Help Desk– Issue Management
