User Interface

Cigati Outlook Email Recovery Tool has been designed with one of the most simple and easy to use interface. It has been developed in such a way that even a novice user can use this tool without any technical expertise. The application contains Menus that let users to access various other features that the software is providing.

Menus

When you launch the software, you will find the below Menu options for the following features:

Open: You will find the Open menu on the top left corner of your tool & you can use it to add the Outlook emails or the PST files for recovery

Stop: Click on this menu to stop any give process whether it’s scanning or recovery

Save: You may use this menu to save your recovered files in your system

Search: The following menu help users to search or locate specific files in their system

Export: Looking to export your PST files into a different format, the Export menu options will help you in doing that

Log: The Log menu option help users to create Log files of the entire recovery process

Help: Click this button to open the user help guide

About: This menu displays you the About section of the software

Activation Guide

To activate the full version in your system, follow the below mentioned process

As soon as you make the payment and purchase the full version of the application, you will receive an email from sales@cigatisolutions.com on your registered email id.

The email will contain all the related documents and details needed to activate the software with that it will also have a download link of the purchased software.

Click on the link and download & install the application in your Windows PC (For installation you may check out our installation guide as well).

Post installation, double click on the software icon & launch it.

Click on ‘I don’t have authentication code’ in the authentication code box.

& fill the below details after that: Email Address: Mention the same email address that you have used to Register the software. Order Number: Enter the Order Number provided to you when you purchased the software. Path to save the file: The default location to save your recovered files is set to desktop. You can change it here. Just browse and select the destination.

Now click on ‘Get Authentication Code’

After you clicked on ‘Get Authentication Code’ a new file named “cigatiinfo” will be saved at your mentioned location.

Now, just select that auto generated file to sales@cigatisolutions.com

Within 5-10 minutes of sending that email, you will receive an email containing the Activation Code to activate the full version of the software

Now copy & paste or type the exact code in the Authentication Code box and click Activate

Updating the Software There is no need to update the software as the tool has been designed in such a way that it gets updated automatically. However, if you want to know the details on various updates, you can check out our NEWS section.

Installation & Uninstallation Guide 5.1 Installation Guide for Cigati Outlook Email Recovery Tool Prior to Installation please Save the .exe file of the Software at a secured location.

Download the latest version of Outlook Email Recovery Tool from our website.

Double Click on the exe file and click on Run to start installing it in your Windows PC.

Next, the installer will show you the “End User License Agreement” (EULA) of the software. You must mark I Agree Option and accept all the terms and conditions to continue.

Click on Browse and locate where you want the software to be installed. The default path is set by windows so you can go with that or you can change the location according to your preference. Then Click Next.

The installer will also ask you whether you want to Create a Desktop Shortcut or Quick Launch Shortcut or both. So make your choice and Click Next.

Before the final Installation, the Installer will Show you a brief Summary of your selected preferences. If you want to make some changes, then you can go back to the previous options and edit them or else click on Install.

And finally, click on Finish to launch the software.

Uninstallation Guide for Cigati Outlook Email Recovery Tool

Being a Windows based software, user can easily uninstall the software from Control Panel. As it stores all the system settings and deleting the file from it leads to complete deletion:

Click on Start Menu on down left corner of the desktop and locate Control Panel.

In Control Panel open Add and Remove Programs.

It will display the list of all Software Installed in your Computer. Find Outlook Email Recovery Tool in the displayed list.

To start the Uninstallation Double Click on the application icon.

Select one option either Permanent Deletion or Partial Deletion and click Yes.

A confirmation will be displayed with the message Uninstallation Successful. Then click OK and to complete the uninstallation

Software Working Process

Step 01: Launch the software

Step 02: First, you have to select your PST files that you want to recover. For that, click on Open on the

top left corner of your screen.

Step 03: In the Select PST tab, browse and locate your PST files. And also select the Recovery mode as

well: Standard, Advanced & Deep. Now click OK.

Note: We always suggest users to start the recovery process with Standard Recovery Mode and if it

doesn’t recover as per your needs then go for Advanced and then Deep.

Step 04: After the scanning process gets over, click on OK.

Step 05: Here, you can see all your emails and other data in their old hierarchy.

Step 06: You can click on any of the emails and can preview its data and content on the right side pane

of the Windows.

Step 07: If you want to save a screenshot of the whole scanning process you can do it here. For that,

just click on Save as shown in the given image.

Step 08: A new popup Windows will open as soon as you click on Save. Browse & locate the location

where you want to save the files & click Save.

Step 09: After the saving process gets over click on OK.

Step 10: Now select the emails that you want to save. Select those files and click on Save as shown in

the image.

Note: If you want to recover files for a specific date or time then we would suggest you not to select any

files/emails from the preview pane. You can mention the specific date in the Select Date Range section

later.

Step 11: Here choose the file type in which you want to save the files PST, EML, DBX, MSG, MBOX or

Archive. If you want to attach the recovered PST files directly in your Outlook, click on Attach PST file to

MS Outlook.

Step 12: If you want to select emails for a specific date range then go to Select Data Range and select

the dates for which you want to save the files.

Step 13: Now go to Select folder path to save files & browse the location where you want to save the

recovered files and click OK.

Step 14: Click OK again

Step 15: Let, the saving process work.

Note: Don’t click on any other button in the software interface.

Step 16: After the software has recovered your files, click OK.
