CIC study group

Group activities started in Oct.2017 as WhatsApp group, the goal is to raise IPs knowledge and promote CIC certification through the following objectives:

• Spread the culture of CIC certification

• Motivate and support members preparing for CIC certification

• Monitor members commitment and activity toward CIC certification

• Daily discussion of CIC questions (5 questions per day) by CIC certified members

• Celebrating success of recent CIC certified

• Collecting, analyzing and reporting group activities

• Encourage participation “CIC in the Spotlight”

• Sharing knowledge and experience among variant hospital policies and in different countries regarding infection prevention practice

➢The group is limited for 257 members

➢Active participating in discussion is required by group members

➢Discussion is conducted by CIC certified (Discussion leader)

➢Inactive members replaced with new members interested to be CIC certified

➢Recently CIC certified share their story and experience about CIC exam

➢A pre - set target of 4 members to be CIC certified each month
