Church-Wide Picnic Sunday, August 27th at 4:00 Make plans now to join us for a great evening of food and fun at West Jefferson

Park for our annual church-wide picnic.

The church will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. We ask that you

bring side dishes and des-serts. There is a sign-up

Adult Choir Practice Wednesday, August 16th Practice will resume on August 16th. Now is a great time to join the

choir!! We have great new music and will also be

working on our Christmas musical. So join us as we sing praises to the Lord. ———————————-

If you have not brought in your school supplies for area children in need, please bring them by Wednesday, August 9th. We will have tubs in the fellowship hall to drop off

your items. —————————————- The Ashe Baptist Association 131st Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, August 18th

beginning at 2:00 pm at Warrensville Baptist Church and on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am at Midway Baptist

Church. All Messengers, Pastors and the public is

invited to attend. ————————————-

Fletcher Memorial Homecoming

Fletcher Memorial will have its Homecoming Service on September 17th. Music will

begin at 9:15 with Tim Lewis and Friends and Dr. Dan

Little will bring our message during the Worship Service. We will have a covered-dish meal after morning worship. ————————————-

School Supply Drive Work Day – Friday, August 11 at 9:00 Please meet at Fletcher at 9:00 am. We will need several drivers. We will pick-up school supplies at various sites

and go to Ashe Services for Aging to count and sort. We will also deliver the school supplies to the schools. Bring money for lunch. ———————————————————————————
