Greetings From Father Jim ...

In this Sunday’s Bulletin you will notice our 4 year comparison in our financial report. I would like to call attention to a few areas of importance found in this report.

First, note that although our ordinary income was down this year given the unique situation we were in, we have done much better than expected! With your generosity and the help of our PPP forgiva-ble loan, we have been able to stay the course ending the fiscal year with arrears of only $33,163.72. Over the last two fiscal years our arrears have decreased by $67,321!

Second, you may note that some of the figures on the purple double asterisk lines are higher since those are the areas where we are in arrears with the Diocese and have paid extra monies in these areas on the arrears we owe, especially over the last two years.

Finally, in the bottom right corner, you will see our funds that are restricted reserves for specific projects. Examples include, our sign project (currently in progress), the wall project at Glen Campbell Church, and the project reserve blue envelope funds highlighted below the stewardship of treasure sec-tion in this bulletin.

I want to thank all of you deeply for your generosity and care for our Parish. Specifically note, that it is with your love and kindness we have been able to complete the projects we have completed in the past fiscal year as well as pay toward our arrears. Thank you so much for your support of our Parish! If you have any questions we welcome you to call and would be happy to explain any item on our report in further detail. May God always Bless and care for you and your families, Fr. Jim Morley

Behind the Scene, with the Buildings and Grounds Committee

Many thanks to the parishioners who repaired the steps to the garage from the rectory in Clymer. We are happy to re-port that they are open and safe to use.

Another parishioner shared his time and talent to replace the valve in the Clymer church basement which shuts off the water from the Rectory. The parish is grateful!

A meeting is scheduled this week with TREMCO to find out the recommendation for the roof on the Administration Center.

Information about quotes for various projects are being worked up by Committee members for the joint Buildings and Grounds and Finance Committee meeting on Tuesday 9-22-20.

Next week, look for a report on what was accomplished at the Heilwood workday!

The Building and Grounds Committee, including Father Jim and Deacon Steve, have identified many projects big and small at each site. Please consider volunteering with your family, friends, or neighbors to help move these projects to completion and keep our churches looking their best and in good repair. For further infor-

mation about projects at any site, please contact a member of the Building and Grounds Committee, Father Jim, or Dea-con Steve.

As we all know, there is ALWAYS something to be done around the house, and that includes God’s house too! And we want to say, THANK YOU for your support via prayers, your donations to the project funds and any time you can spend helping out with the projects!
