Sunday School Christmas Musical

We are very blessed to have added to our staff with the installation of Larry Bruce as Director of Worship and Outreach. Your call committee continues to work diligently to add the final piece to our called staff with a future installation of an associate pastor. To that end, I just wanted to give a brief update to our process. In early November, the call committee interviewed a potential pastor. We also have scheduled the interviewing of two more pastors of great talent on Thursday, November 30. After all three interviews are completed we plan to bring our finding to the congregation in December. We will try to keep you posted on any new developments in this process. We take great faith that our God will provide for his church as he directs us in this process. I know at times it can feel like a slow, belabored process that does not correspond to our timetable, but we remember the words of 2 Peter 3:9

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness."

Together in Christ, Pastor Chad

Poinsettias for Christmas

You probably know a few people who could use a little extra holiday cheer. Maybe it’s the babysitter, a favorite teacher or even the friendly mailman! Want to buy them all a little something, without breaking the bank? Well, this holiday season you can purchase a Scrip card for them from Redeemer.

Give Scrip cards as gifts, or use them to shop from hundreds of nationwide vendors. Remember, Scrip doesn't cost you anything extra. If you purchase a $25 Scrip card, it is worth the full $25 value.

Deadline for Christmas orders is 12 noon on Sunday, December 10. Buy Scrip on Weekends after each worship service and Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m. in the church office.

Redeemer purchases Scrip shopping cards from a

distributor at a discount. Redeemer re-sells the Scrip shopping cards to you for full face value. Discounts range from 2% to 20%, and this money is Redeemer’s profit and helps fund our youth group, Preschool and Child Care. You use Scrip shopping cards from your favorite retailers just like cash, for their full face value. If you purchase a $25 gift card, it is worth the full $25 value.

The Altar Guild of Redeemer is busy planning for the Christmas season. The Poinsettias and White Mums will cost $18.00 each. If you would like to make a donation to help cover the cost of poinsettias and mums please do so by filling out the form below and returning it to the church office by Monday, December 18. Poinsettias and Mums can be taken home following the Christmas Day worship service. Attached is a check or cash in the amount of $__________________ (If writing a check please make it payable to Redeemer Altar Guild.) Given by: _______________________________ _______________________________ If you would like your poinsettias or mum given in memory of family or friends, please clearly write information here.
