What do we eat?

•A typical Christmas meal in the Czech republic is:

•Pea or fish soup

•Potato salad with our typical czech fish carp

Main Course

•Carp: bread it and fry it on both sides

•Salad: we need: boiled potatoes , carot, hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, tartar sauce, pickles…and after?......Slice this viegetable and add sauce and mayonnaise and mix all the ingredience thoroughly.

Christmas tree

Christmas tree is one of our tradition, but it isn´t only tradition. It´s a decoration and we give gifts under the tree.

All familise do not have the same trees. They are very different. Each person likes different colours. The most used colours are red, blue, gold and silver, but some people like strawy decorations and with this they use dried oranges, for example.

We have lot of kinds or types of trees. We can have larch, .. er... we can have all the coniferous trees. Some people are ecologically based. They have artifical trees, because they don´t support felling trees. Clever people.
