A Saturday or enhanced Saturday service will run. A limited service will also run on weekday-only routes of 521 and X68. Night buses - no service 24-hour bus routes will operate until just after midnight.

There will be a normal service on the Tube until 15:00, after which there will be fewer trains on the Metropolitan line. The last Tube trains on all lines will leave to a Sunday timetable except the Waterloo & City line, which will close around 23:15.

From 19:30, an evening service will run, with the last train departing by 23:00.

After 18:00, there will be no route 4 service and fewer trams will run on routes 1, 2 and 3. Last trams will be at their normal time.

London Overground services will begin to wind down from around 21:00.

A reduced service will operate between Kings Cross and Leeds. Some services between Kings Cross and Newcastle will be extended to terminate at/start from Edinburgh. LAST TRAINS From Kings Cross 18:00 to Edinburgh 19:30 to Newcastle 19:30 to York 20:05 to Leeds

west coast

The last service will leave Liverpool Street at 21:00.

Friday 25th December – Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, there’ll be NO service on National Rail, London Underground, London Overground,

Tramlink, DLR or London Bus Services.

The only exception will be Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect, which will run a shuttle service between Heathrow Central and Terminals

4/5 only.

There will be services running in/out Victoria Coach Station.

Also, from 25 December until Monday 4th January, the central London Congestion Charge will be suspended.

Saturday 26th December – Boxing Day

Only National Rail services that are running are included in this list. All others resume on Sunday 27th

Chiltern Railway An amended timetable will run between Oxford Parkway and Marylebone only. Stansted Express A half-hourly service will operate. Heathrow Connect Services will run between Heathrow Central and Terminal 4 / 5 only. Heathrow Express

Services will run between Heathrow Central and Terminal 4 / 5 only. Southeastern

High speed services will run between Ashford and St Pancras every 30 minutes between 08:00 and 20:00.

Southern A very limited Southern service will operate on the following routes only: • Victoria and Sutton (via Norbury) • Victoria and East Grinstead (for bus connections to Gatwick Airport and

Three Bridges) • Gatwick Airport and Brighton.

All Tube lines (other than the Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines) will run a Sunday service starting an hour later than normal.

Metropolitan line: no service on the Metropolitan line from Baker Street to Aldgate. A Sunday service will run on the rest of the line, but after 20:00 there will be fewer trains.

Circle line: no service from Hammersmith to Tower Hill via King's Cross St Pancras. There will be a special Circle line service between Edgware Road and Barking via Victoria.

Hammersmith & City line: No service from Hammersmith to Aldgate East. London Overground: No Service. TfL Rail: No Service.

London Buses: All routes will run a Sunday service. 24-hour routes will begin around 06:00.

DLR : Services will run every 10 minutes between 08:30 - 00:30. Tramlink: Sunday service.

Sunday 27th December

Normal service. An amended service will run. An amended service will run due to engineering works.

Amended service.

No service. A revised service will run. Normal service. No trains in/out Liverpool Street on the Great Eastern line because of engineering works. Trains will run as far as Ingatestone and will then be replaced by a mixture of buses and the tube (from Newbury Park). Services to/from Southend Victoria and Southminster will be replaced by buses. From 21:05, buses will also replace trains between Colchester and Newbury Park. Services from Liverpool Street to Cambridge, Stansted Airport, Bishop’s Stortford and Hertford East will run as normal.

Sunday 27th December

Major Crossrail works mean NO main line services in/out Paddington Station. Trains from Reading will divert to Waterloo. Long distance services from Wales/South W England will divert to either Waterloo or Marylebone. No trains at Acton Mainline, West Ealing, Hanwell and on the Greenford branch.

Services will run only between Heathrow Central and Terminal 4 / 5 service.

Amended service.

Normal service, but works will affect trains further up the line near Stafford.

A revised Sunday timetable will run. No trains at Charing Cross, Cannon Street, London Bridge and Waterloo East. A reduced service will run to and from Victoria, Blackfriars and New Cross. Sunday service on other lines.

Major works in the Purley area mean Buses replace trains between East Croydon and Redhill/Caterham and between Purley and Epsom (via Tattenham Corner). Additional trains will run from London to East Grinstead to connect with buses to/from Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges. A revised service will run on the rest of the network.

Services will run only between Heathrow Central and Terminal 4 / 5 service.

Sunday 27th December

Trains will run between Bedford and St Pancras International/East Croydon and then between Gatwick Airport and Brighton. Use Southern services to travel between East Croydon and East Grinstead to connect with buses between East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport. All other routes will run as normal.

Normal service subject to works near Stafford.

NEW YEARS EVE – ROAD CLOSURES IN CENTRAL LONDON

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

will be providing free travel all night on all its public transport services, (23:45 on New Year’s Eve until 04:30 on New Year’s Day).

• This years fireworks are a ticketed.

• There’ll be changes in how you can get around London during the festivities (More details on the next page).

Thursday 31st December – New Years Eve

exit only from 23:45. • Covent Garden will be exit only from 19:00. • Blackfriars will be exit only from 21:00. • Southwark will be exit only from 23:45. • Embankment will see the riverside exit closing at 16:00. The whole station

from 23:30 until approximately 00:15 on 1 January. • Leicester Square Tube station will be exit and interchange only from 20:00. • Piccadilly Circus will have a queueing system in place from 20:00. • St James’s Park will have the Palmer Street entrance and exit closed. • Waterloo will see the Jubilee Colonnade be exit only from Midnight. The

main line station will be entrance only. • Westminster Station exits will start to closed from 16:00 and will be fully

closed from 21:30. • Russell Square will be exit only from 22:30. Victoria will operate as normal but is likely to be extremely busy and will operate a queueing system.

There will be a later service, with last trains around 02:50 on these lines: • Highbury & Islington and Crystal

An all-night Saturday service will run every half an hour between: • Wimbledon and Beckenham

From 23:45 on New Year’s Eve until 04:30 on New Year’s Day (or until last services) travel will be free

on London Underground, London Overground, Tramlink, DLR & London Bus services.

There will be a half hourly service from 02:55 - 05:30 on New Year's Day. There’ll be no trains between Seven Kings and Shenfield after 02:25.

Trains will run every 15 minutes in the early hours of New Years Day.

Friday 1st January – New Years Day

Sunday service. An amended Sunday service will run. Services will start later than normal with some early trains cancelled. Once services are running, an amended timetable will operate due to engineering works.

No service. Services will start later than normal.

No trains in/out Liverpool Street on the Great Eastern main line because of engineering works. Trains will run as far as Ingatestone and will then be replaced by a mixture of buses and the tube (from Newbury Park). Services to/from Billericay will be replaced by buses. Services from Liverpool Street to Cambridge, Stansted Airport, Bishop’s Stortford and Hertford East will run to a special timetable before 0800 and a Saturday timetable after.

An amended timetable will operate.

Friday 1st January – New Years Day

Major Crossrail works mean a revised service in/out Paddington Station. No trains at Acton Mainline, West Ealing, Hanwell and on the Greenford branch.

Half hourly service between Paddington and Heathrow Airport.

Amended service.

A Sunday timetable will run, but works may affect some trains in/out Euston.

A revised Sunday service. No trains at Charing Cross, Cannon Street, London Bridge and Waterloo East. A reduced service will run to and from Victoria, Blackfriars and New Cross. Sunday service on other lines.

Major works in the Purley area mean Buses replace trains between East Croydon and Redhill/Caterham and between Purley and Epsom (via Tattenham Corner). Additional trains will run from London to East Grinstead to connect with buses to/from Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges. A revised service will run on the rest of the network.

Half hourly service between Paddington and Heathrow Airport.

Friday 1st January – New Years Day

Trains will run between Bedford and St Pancras International/East Croydon and then between Gatwick Airport and Brighton. Use Southern services to travel between East Croydon and East Grinstead to connect with buses between East Grinstead and Gatwick Airport. All revised timetable will run on all routes.

Saturday service with some morning services starting later than usual.

Sunday service on all routes.

Saturday service will run on all lines, except for the Metropolitan Line which will run a special timetable.

Services start later than normal, after which a reduced service will run between Kings Cross and Leeds.

Before 10:00, services will run every 15 minutes, after which a Saturday service will run.

Sunday Service

A Saturday timetable will run, but works mean NO service between : • Richmond and Willesden Junction • Romford and Upminster

Trains will run around every 15 minutes. No trains between Seven Kings and Shenfield.
