Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Beijing

Welcome to Beijing, China’s political and cultural centre with a history of more than

5,000 years. Upon arrival met & transfer you to your hotel, stay at the Presidential Hotel

Beijing for 4 night. Your hotel is a 5 star hotel located in the central Beijing, with walking

distance to the historical Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Rest of the day is free

at leisure to relax or explore on your own pace.

Day 02: Beijing, Forbidden City, Summer Palace

This morning start at Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world

surrounded by historical and iconic buildings. Next, explore the Palace Museum, known

as the Forbidden City, once imperial residence for the 13 emperors in the Ming & Qing

Dynasties. This afternoon wander in the Summer Palace, served as an imperial resort

with the largest garden and manmade lake. (B/L/-)

Day 03: Beijing, climb the Great Wall

Today experience the highlight of your holiday as you climb the Great Wall of China,

one of the seven wonders in the world. We climb the prominent section of the Wall

named Badaling Great Wall, and spend minimum 2 hours on the wall so you enjoy the

most of this incredible ancient defence project. Back to the city and make photo stop at

2008 Beijing Olympic Village. (B/L/-)

Day 04: Beijing, The Temple of Heaven, Hutong tour

This morning visit the iconic Temple of Heaven, a unique architecture masterpiece from

the 15th Century. Then explore Beijing’s historic Hutong, experience old fashioned

pedi-cab, and visit to the traditional courtyard style houses. (B/L/-)

Day 05: Beijing – Xian by flight

This morning fly to Xian, an ancient capital in China. On arrival, visit Shanxi Provincial

Museum of the finest museums in China, explore the historical icon Wild Goose

Pagoda. Transfer to your hotel, stay at Xian Jianguo Hotel for 2 nights. (B/L)

Day 06: Xian, Terracotta Warriors

Today marvel at the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors & Horses, an amazing

archaeological discovery in the 20th Century, there were more than 6,000 life size

Terracotta Warriors unearthed with a history of 2,000 years. Tonight enjoy the

traditional Tang Dynasty dinner & show. (B/L/D)

Day 07: Xian – Lhasa by flight

Today we fly to Lhasa, Tibet’s capital city. Relax at the hotel for acclimatization as

Lhasa is situated at elevation of 3,500 metres. Stay at Yak Hotel for three nights. (B/L)

Day 08: Lhasa, Putala Palace

Today exxplore the Lhasa’s cardinal landmark- Potala Palace. This massive 13-

storeyed building used to be the former winter abode for the Dalai Lamas. It looks

incredibly magnificent from a distance and could be viewed from various places around

the town. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 and watch

the famous Buddhism Scriptures Debating by the monks. (B/L)

Day 09: Lhasa, Summer Palace

Full day visit to the most revered religious structure in Tibet, Jokhang Temple, the most

sacred temple in Tibet, refers to “Buddha’s House” in Tibetan language because the

main statue enshrined is said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself in his lifetime.

Jokhang Temple is the convergence of Tibet’s Spiritual and secular life, like Mecca for

the Muslims, here you can meet all the tribes from Tibetan plateau. The surrounding

market is called Barkhor, one of the most important religious paths, which also

assembles people for shopping. In the afternoon, visit Norbulingkha, the summer

palace of the Dalailama. (B/L)

Day 10: Lhasa – Shanghai by flight

Today we fly to Shanghai. Welcome to Shanghai, China’s largest city. Transfer to your

hotel, stay at Ocean Hotel for 3 nights. Your hotel is a 5 star hotel located in the north of

the famous Bund. (B)

Day 11: Shanghai, the Bund, Yu Garden, Museum

Start our day with a relaxing walk on the Bund, a famed waterfront promenade lined

with colonial-era buildings. Next explore the classic Yu Garden and the bustling old

town with zigzag narrow laneways. Later, browse the fine Shanghai Museum, and take a

stroll in Xintiandi, a historical redevelopment zone. Drive along Pudong new city and

view the modern iconic buildings. Tonight you can purchase optional evening

entertainment show, the famous Shanghai acrobatics. (B/L)

Day 12: Excursion to Suzhou, Oriental Venice

Enjoy a day excursion to the water town Suzhou, known as the Oriental Venice. Visit the

classic Garden of Master of Nets, Silk Spinning Factory, and stroll along Pingjiang Road

Old Town Area. (B/L)

Day 13: Shanghai departure

After breakfast free at leisure until transfer to the airport. (B)
