• Modernising Nursing in the Community Board established in September 2009.

• To provide leadership and vision to support NHS Boards to develop and deliver:

- High Quality - Sustainable and - Person centred community nursing

• Work of the Board is due to be complete in 2011

• Data analysis in progress

Aim

• To develop a framework for public health nursing (0-19) which will assist NHS Boards in the provision of high quality, sustainable public health nursing in the community.

• To adopt a coordinated Scotland wide approach

while enabling local solutions.
