    1. THESIS STATEMENTPresent the projects argument or interpretation in two sentences. If you are using the NHD theme, you might

want to make it evident in your thesis statement.

    2. SUMMARY OF PROJECTBriefly explain your project and its conclusion. Include: How and why did change happen and what was the

impact? Why is it historically significant? What historical meaning or importance can we learn from your

    findings?

The impact the World Health Organization brought to the world is that they started to eradicate and eliminate

disease and viruses around the world. They already eradicated Smallpox and they are trying to Eradicate

Tuberculosis. The importance we can learn from our topic is that they have people out there who want to help

and cure diseases or viruses so it won't spread worldwide again like Smallpox did. The WHO foundation is

significant because it shows what they have done and what they will be doing to help out the world. What

changed in the world is that Smallpox was done they found a cure and it wasn't affecting people and making

them sick and it also stops deaths happening worldwide

    3. Required for projects using the National History Day theme only.Explain how this project integrates the NHD theme Leadership & Legacy in [Chicago/Illinois] History into itsargument.

It shows Leadership and Legacy because they have people out there who want to help cure diseases that will

and can kill you. It shows Legacy because the diseases that they have eradicated or eliminated in the world no

longer exist and if it were to happen to come again they have a cure for it and it will not affect the world like it did

    back then.

    4. PROCESS

    A. What historical question did you start off withand how did it change once you

    began doing your research?

    B. What kinds of sources did you use as evidence to develop your argument (for

example, letters, photographs, government documents, interviews, etc.)?

To backup or develop our argument we used sources like photographs and letters and a

website that talked about the founder of WHO and what he did to help before WHO and

what made him want to start this organization and how far they have came since they

    started WHO.

    C. Select one piece of evidence that you used and explain how it influenced your
