Based on the University Charter, “Always Aim Higher”, we will foster human resources with the knowledge of liberal arts, specialized subjects, professional skills, and the ability to solve problems. We have 10 faculties with about 10,000 students and 13 graduate schools with about 3,500 students. Also, there are about 500 partner institution agreements in 47 countries, including 18 university level partners in Thailand. Every year we accept about 2,000 international students. We are continually developing education and research programs, expanding various international activities all over the world, aiming to become a world-class university. Major Activities J-PAC (JAPAN Program at Chiba) Study in CU This is for the undergraduate exchange students from partner universities and for students who study Japanese language and culture (nikkensei). We accept a lot of students from Thailand every year. On the other hand, Dr. Alexander Nanni, Associate Dean for International Affairs, MUIC, is appointed as an Affiliate Professor of CU. Prof. Ishido will develop more programs for students and support international joint research. Now, we have various short programs in Thailand, and our students have valuable experience by interaction with a different culture. CU hopes that this event will be one of the originals of further collaboration with the universities in Thailand. CU opened Bangkok Center at Aditayathorn Building in Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in September 2017 Plant Factory in Mahidol University In January 2018, a symposium was held at Phaya Thai Campus, Mahidol University, and after that, CU built the laboratory for plant factory in Phaya Thai Campus and Plastic House in Kanchanaburi Campus. We are planning a new project based on these facilities.
