Dear Sir,

You are hereby informed that your above referred tender read with subsequent letters mentioned above for the Stores specified in the Schedules annexed has been accepted. This Rate Contract will be governed by the terms and conditions brought in CSIDC Form No.1 & 2. The Rate Contract and the Schedules annexed hereto shall be the sole repository of this Rate Contract / Transaction. You are required to show the original INK-SIGNED subject Rate Contract to the satisfaction of Direct Demanding Officer who will place the supply order as per instructions contained in CSIDC form No. 2 and also to the Quality Assurance Officer for inspection purpose and to the Paying Authority at the time of getting the payment .

Conditions to be fulfilled by the Purchaser Department (DDO’s) for purchase of store from the Rate Contract holders and Quality Assurance Officer for Inspection of store before delivery :-

It is sole responsibility of the Purchase Department’s (DDO’s) and Quality Assurance Officer to comply with the following conditions as a pre-requisite before accepting delivery/conducting Inspections – (1) Purchase Department’s (DDO’s) shall ensure the validity of following documents applicable for the

Rate Contract Holder to his satisfactions :- A. Udyog Aadhar Memorandum, Valid Operational Certificate. B. PAN Card No., Sales Tax/VAT Tax Registration (TIN).

(2) The above set of documents (As applicable) are required to be inspected by the Quality Assurance Officer before conduction inspection of store.

(3) In case, on the date of delivery OR Inspection, if any of document as mentioned above are not valid OR the validity period of which has been expired. no inspection would be conducted and also no delivery of store to be received from the Rate Contract Holder.

20 INSPECTION CHARGES : Inspection charges 0.60%+ Service Tax As applicable to be paid extra at the time of inspection to Quality Assurance Officer which will be billed by the unit along with bill of the material and will be reimbursed by the paying authority of DDO.

21. SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract, CSIDC Form No. 1, Clause 7,the Purchaser/DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. Such security deposit shall not ordinarily exceed 3% . The security shall be in form of Demand Drafts issued by any of the Scheduled Commercial Banks. No other form of security is to be accepted. The security deposit amount is to be refunded after successful completion of the supply.

(E) SPECIFICATION OF PRODUCTS

(A) TANKERS MOUNTED ON FOUR WHEEL TROLLEY (WITH 7.50 X 16 TYRE & TUBE) WITH LEAF SPRING OR WITHOUT LEAF SPRING

1. Chassis:

The Chassis shall be fabricated as per standard practice to mount the MS tank. All the joint shall be welded with gusset plates wherever required as per standard practice.

The Chassis frame shall have two longitudinal member and 5 cross members of channel

section of size 125 x 65 mm (ISMC) for 4500 & 5000 lts. Capacity. For 3500 lts. Capacity the chassis frame shall have two longitudinal members and 4 cross members of channel section of size 100 x 50 mm (ISMC) The overall approximate dimensions of various tanker trolley chassis shall be as under:- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Turn table:

The turn table frame shall be made out of 100x50mm (ISMC) MS channel with cross support, fixed with double rings fabricated from Angle Iron 40x40x6 mm and with 40mm diameter centre pin with suitable washer and locking arrangement.

3. Draw Bar:

Draw bar shall be in triangular construction made out of ISMC of size 100x50 mm with spring loaded eyehook made of 40mm dia MS bar.

The straight length of draw bar should be 150 cms including eye hook. Draw bar shall be hinged with the frame of turn table by 500 x 25mm Ms round bar having locking arrangement at both the end.

4. Axle & Brake assembly:

Axle shall be made from 63 x 63mm square bar with both the end machined, threaded and fitted with hubs and hexagonal lock nut, fitted with twin taper roller bearings, and provided with grease nipples for greasing the moving parts. For braking mechanical-internal expanding type brakes with suitable drums. hand operated, on rear wheels compete, with steel rod, clamps, springs and hand lever be provided.

5. Leaf Spring:

Four sets of leaf spring consisting of 13 leaves of size minimum 70 x 10mm, 1000mm long (distance between two pin) of alloy steel shall be provided. These leaf spring shall be fixed with frame by means of complete cast iron bracket assembly.

6. Tyres, tubes & wheel Assembly :

Four number tyre of 7.50 x 16 and tubes of standard make, Shall be provided with double plated rims 5mm thick with 5/6 nos. holes.

7. Water tanker:

The Water Tanker shall have capacity of 5000, 4500 & 3500 litres approx., and shall be manufactured in elliptical shape/ semi elliptical shape. The tank shall be made out of 3.15mm thick MS sheet, and end plates of 4.0mm thick MS plate. End plate shall be maximum in two piece.

The tank shall be reinforced from inside by welding four numbers of elliptical rings made of 40 x 40 x 6mm MS angle one at both ends and two in between at suitable distance (total 04 on.) for 4500 & 5000 lts capacity. For 3500 lts capacity angle rings shall be provided at both ends and one at the middle (total 03 no.)

Two nos. baffle plate of 3.15mm thick MS sheet shall be provided in side the tank. These plates shall be properly welded with the central ring as per the standard practice. The height of baffle plate shall be 20cm. More than half of the height of tank. For 3500 lts capacity only one baffle plate be provided.

8. Manhole:

Two manhole with hinged cover shall be provided at the top of the tank. The cover of tank shall be fabricated from 3.15 thick MS sheet. The collar of the cover and manhole shall be made out of 4.00 mm MS strip. Locking arrangement for cover shall be provided; The manhole covers shall be such fabricated so that no foreign material may enter into the tank.

A 300 mm wide five steps ladder made of 32 x 32 x 2.5/3mm Ms angle be provided at left hand on rear side of the tanker (i.e. cleaner seat side). One no. 300 mm wide platform for full length at left hand be provided at appropriate level. The platform frame be made from Angle Iron 32 x 32 x2.5/3mm and 2.5 mm thick MS sheet. A suitable railing of 150 mm height on full length of platform shall be provided at the outer side of the platform by using 25x25x2.5/3mm Angle Iron or 25mm pipe and 2.0 mm MS sheet.

The rear wheels shall be covered with mudguards fabricated out of 1.6mm thick MS sheets,

as per standard practice.

The Water Tanker shall be fixed on the chassis by 8 nos. suitable arranged fabricated shoes (box type brackets) from 5mm thick plates and base plate of approximate size 23x17 cms. and 12mm thick OR made of suitable ISMC bolted to the chassis with suitable ‘U’ clamps (two nos. in each base) The box brackets width shall not be less than 60mm and the bottom of the tank shall be provided with 6 mm thick and 120mm wide saddle plates for full width of the tank as a base for the shoes (box type brackets).

A 300 mm wide three steps ladder made of 32x32x2.5/3mm MS angle be provided at left hand on front side of the tanker (i.e. cleaner seat side). One no. 300mm wide platform for full length at left hand be provided at appropriate level. The platform frame be made from angle iron 32x32x2.5/3mm and 2.5 mm thick MS sheet. A suitable railing of 150mm height on full length of platform shall be provided at the outer side of the platform by using 25x25x3mm Angle Iron of 25mm pipe and 2.0mm MS Sheet.

The water tanker shall be fixed on the chassis by 6 nos. suitable arranged fabricated shoes (box type brackets) from 5mm thick plates and base plate of approximate size 23 x 17 cms. and 12 mm thick OR made of suitable ISMC bolted to the chassis with suitable ‘U’ clamps (two nos. in each base). The box brackets width shall not be less than 60 mm and the bottom of the tank shall be provided with 6 mm thick and 120 mm wide saddle plates for full width of the tank as a base for the shoes (box type brackets.)

8. Ball Bering No. 31213 must be used.

(C) TANKERS MOUNTED ON FOUR WHEEL TROLLEY: (WITH 9X20 TYRES TUBES)

1. Chassis: The Chassis shall be fabricated as per standard practice to mount the MS tank. All the joint

shall be welded with gusset plates wherever required as per standard practice.

The chassis frame shall have two longitudinal member and 3 cross members of channel section of size 150x75mm (ISMC) for 4000 & 5000 It. Capacity.

The width of the chassis frame shall be of 1.0mt and length shall be equal to the length of the tank.

2. Turn table:

The turn table frame shall be made out of 100x50mm (ISMC or equivalent) MS channel with cross support, fixed with double rings fabricated out of Angle Iron 40x40x6 mm and with 40mm diameter centre pin with suitable washer and locking arrangement.

3. Draw Bar:

Draw bar shall be in triangular construction made out of Ms Channel of size 100x50 mm with spring loaded eyehook made of 40mm dia MS bar.

The straight length of draw bar should be 150 cms including eye hook. Draw bar shall be hinged with the frame of turn table by 100x25mm MS round bar having locking arrangement at both the end.


Axle shall be made from 63x63mm square bar of 1750mm length with both the end machined and threaded and provided with iron hubs and hexagonal lock nut, fitted with twin taper roller bearings, and provided with grease nipples for greasing the moving parts. For braking mechanical-internal expanding type brakes with suitable drums, hand operated, on rear wheels compete, with steel rod, clamps, springs and hand lever be provided.

5. Leaf Spring:

Four sets of leaf spring consisting of 13 leaves of size 70x11 mm minimum 1000mm long (distance between two pin) of alloy steel shall be provided. These leaf spring shall be fixed with frame by means of complete cast iron bracket assembly.


Four number tyre of 9 x 20 and tubes of standard make. Shall be provided with double plated rims 5 mm thick with 5/6 nos. holes. For four wheel trolley.

7. Water tanker:

The Water Tanker shall have capacity of 5000 & 4000 litres approx. manufactured in semi elliptical shape.

The minor axis of the tank shall be of 1.05 mtr. The manufacturer shall design major axis

and length of the semi elliptical tank accordingly. The tank shall be made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet, and end plates of 4.0 thick MS plate.

End plate should be maximum two pieces.

Two baffle plate of 3.15mm shall be provided in side the tank. These plates shall be properly

welded with the central ring as per the standard practice. The height of baffle plate shall be 20 cm more than half of the height of tank.

8. Manhole:

Two manhole with hinged cover shall be provided at the top of the tank. The cover of tank shall be fabricated from 3.15 thick MS sheet. The collar of the cover and manhole shall be made out of 4.00 mm MS strip. Locking arrangement for cover shall also be provided; The manhole cover shall be such fabricated so that no foreign material may enter in to the tank.

The water tanker shall be fixed on the chassis by 8 nos. suitable arranged fabricated shoes

(box type brackets) from 5mm thick plates and base plate of approximate size 23 x 17 cms. and 12mm thick bolted to the chassis or made of 100x50mm channel properly covered with sheet of 3.15mm suitable ‘U’ clamps (two nos. in each base). The box brackets width shall not be less than 60 mm and the bottom of the tank shall be provided with 6 mm thick and 120 mm wide saddle plates for full width of the tank as a base for the shoes (box type brackets.)

The tank shall be reinforced form inside by welding three numbers of elliptical rings made of

40x40x6mm MS Angle one at both ends and one in between at suitable distance.

One baffle plate of 3.15mm shall be provided in side the tank. These plates shall be properly welded with the central ring as per the standard practice. The height of baffle plate shall be 20cm. more than half of the minor axis of tank.

Pump set stand shall be provided at rear side of the tank.



1. Outlet:

Outlet 75 mm NB class ‘A’ GI nipple of 10 length (minimum) be provided at the rear of the tank along with required 75 mm GM full way wheel valve, followed by another 20 cm length nipple for connecting a hose pipe. A Drain plug of 50 mm shall be provided at the bottom of the tank at suitable place.

2. Accessories:

The water tanker shall be provided with 2 nos. of reflectors, number plate and tool box etc. The size of tool box should be 600 mm (L) x 300 mm (W) x 300 mm (H) made of 2.5 mm MS sheet.

3. Painting & Finishing:

The tanker should be spray painted, with printing coat of red-oxide and two coat of synthetic enamel paint and color as desired by consignee. Interior of the tank should be painted with two coat of suitable primer followed by Non-poisonous white rubber paint.

4. Guarantee:-

The manufacturer shall furnish guarantee for one year against manufacturing defects leakage etc., along with tenders incorporating that in case of complaint they shall undertake satisfactory repairs within 10 days free of cast.



5. Inspection:-

The inspection of water tanker shall be carried out by of CSIDC, Ltd. Approved Inspection Agencies


Note:- If required minor deviation/amendment in specification may be done, after taking approval from CSIDC, Ltd,.
