The special court has framed charges against former Telecom Minister A. Raja, DMK Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi and Dayalu Ammal, wife of party president M. Karunanidhi.

The Enforcement Directorate in its complaint as said that Kalaignar TV has received Rs. 200 crore

as illegal gratification from companies linked with Swan Telecom. Ms. Dayalu Ammal and Ms. Kanimozhi were framed of charges as they hold stake in Kalaignar TV.

It is also alleged that the Unified Access Services licences was allotted to Swan Telecom in an illegal manner in 13 service areas with the connivance of Mr. Raja and others. The special court has formally framed charges against all the 19 accused that include 10 individuals

and nine companies. It is alleged that

Kalaignar TV has acted as a catalyst in receiving bribe on behalf of Mr. Raja. The amount was later returned through the same channel with an interest amount of Rs. 31.36 crore to make it as a genuine loan transaction. The Rs. 200-crore bribe had also been transferred to Kalaignar TV in the same manner after deducting interest amounts to show that it was loan transaction.

The starting point of all achievement is desire. Desire is the key to motivation. With determination and commitment we dare to be different. Being different means not being afraid to challenge the norms but being willing to take a chance.

We prefer our own track and not just follow others. We wish to chart our own course and destiny. We ensure that success is usually only a small step away. Yet despite that it eludes most people. It is always so near and yet so far.

For all that we think we know about the Universe, we have just barely scratched the surface. Life is a constant journey of learning and, hopefully, imagination. In this section of the site, we are going to take a look at what are only a few of the most fascinating things in the Universe.

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon's shadow passes across the face of Earth. During a lunar eclipse, you can watch Earth's shadow sweep across the Moon. While the eclipse is happening, you may also see the Moon change colors!

Meteor showers are not where meteors go to get clean. Instead, they are the sky's own free fireworks show. If you are lucky

enough to see a really active meteor shower, the sky almost comes alive with streaking lights as very tiny particles burn up as they crash into our atmosphere.

It always amazing to hear astronomers talk about how some galaxies and other objects are millions of light years away. If you stop and think about it, how do they know the distance of such far away objects? One way they can tell is by the object's red shift.

A solar eclipse is always big event, not only for astronomers but also for the general public. If the eclipse is total, you can see a cone of shadow race across part of Earth, plunging the affected area into total darkness for a very short period of time.

Some things just don't get along well with each other. Take oil and water as an example, you can mix them together and shake as hard as you like but they'll never become friends.....or will they? Take this fun experiment a step further and find out how bringing oil and water together can help you do your dishes.

What you'll need:Small soft drink bottleWaterFood colouring2 tablespoons of cooking

oilDish washing liquid or

detergent Instructions:Add a few drops of food

colouring to the water.Pour about 2 tablespoons

of the coloured water along with the 2 tablespoons of cooking oil into the small soft drink bottle.

Screw the lid on tight and shake the bottle as hard as you can.

Put the bottle back down and have a look, it may

have seemed as though the liquids were mixing together but the oil will float back to the top.

What's happening? While water often mixes

with other liquids to form solutions, oil and water does not. Water molecules are strongly attracted to each other, this is the same for oil, because they are more attracted to their own molecules they just don't mix together. They separate and the oil floats above the water because it has a lower density.

If you really think oil and water belong together then try adding some dish washing liquid or detergent. Detergent is attracted to both water and oil helping them all join together and form something called an emulsion. This is extra handy when washing those greasy dishes, the detergent takes the oil and grime off the plates and into the water!

Once two merchants on their way lost a camel. They met a traveller and asked him if he had seen it. The man replied he had not." But was your camel blind in the right eye?" said he to them.

"Yes, he was", replied the merchants. "Was it lame in one left foot?" The man asked again. "Certainly it was", said the merchants.

"Was its front tooth missing"? said he to them." Indeed I" said they. "Was it loaded with honey on one side and with wheat on the other?" "That is just how it was loaded," they answered. "Please take us to it."

"But I have not seen your camel," said the man "and I do not know where it is" the merchants got angry and said, "Then how could you tell us so

exactly everything about our camel?" "That is my secret" said the man.

The merchants took him to the king who asked him where the camel was. The man replied that he had not seen it. At this the king asked him how he knew so much about it.

The man answered that the camel had eaten grass only on the left side of the path. So he knew that it was blind. The marks of its one left foot were faint. This showed that the camel was lame. While eating grass, it had left a little turf in the middle.

So he learnt that it had lost front teeth. There were ants carrying grains of corn on one side of the path and flies eating honey on the other. The king was satisfied with his explanation and let him go.

Crazy people are found every-where in our society. When thou-sands of insane are locked up in mental asylum, lakhs of people who are mad for power, mad for money, mad for grabbing lands, mad for modelling, mad for politi-cal leaders and mad for celebrities like cine stars, sports stars etc; This list is a lengthy one and it never ends.

Seeing people plucking flowers from every plant while going for a morning walk, boys cracking the window panes and the heads of people by playing cricket on the streets, boys and girls riding two wheelers at high speed, without caring about other persons- all these are common sights.

Right from the councillors, MLAs and MPs are crazy to grab the power and amass wealth dur-ing their tenure of five years. Gone are the days when national lead-ers served our country. We are crazy people in all walks of life. With the rise of regional parties, our national integration is on the decline. Our traditions and culture are fast deteriorating every day.

Formerly, cinema entertained the people during independence, patriotism was ingrained in peo-ple's minds through films. In olden days, people had great regard for virtuous leaders and noble per-sonalities. In the sixties fan clubs were started for the cine stars. Now-a-days hero worship in politi-cal field and cine field reaches the highest peak. People, especially the youths get attracted to stars of sports and cinemas.

In a recent incident, when the film 'KATHI' was about to be released the mad pro Tamil activ-ists wanted to stop the release of the film because of the producer's connection with the Sri Lankan President. This negative impact created a hype that resulted in overwhelming box office collec-tions. When the film was about to be released in a theatre in Chennai, there was a mad rush of youngsters. The anxious crowd

had berserk over a slight delay in starting. Quarrels broke out among the groups. The mad rush tried to enter cinema hall and in the melee, the owner who was a septuagenarian made a mad rush towards the unruly crowd to pre-vent men who started damaging a huge glass pane. He had lost bal-ance and fell down. The broken glass pane fell on him and his pre-cious life was lost. The mad rush ended in the death of a person.

Will the crazy youngsters realise the value of life?

Erecting cut outs for the favou-rite actors, doing milk and rose water abhisekam to the pictures of the celebrities, garlanding their portraits, celebrating their birthdays in a grand manner are all done b y the crazy youths. Boys and girls copying the dresses and hair styles and haircuts of their celluloid actors. Do they gain anything by doing mimics? A huge wax statue was made with thousands of hard earned money by actor Vijai's fans. Is it necessary? Elders like parents are glued to the seats in front of TV channels seeing and enjoying mov-ies and serials. As are the elders so are their children.

Actors whether they are su-preme stars or super stars or thal-lapthis they are doing their jobs and for this they get huge salary running to crores. Cinema field is a business. A film is an entertain-er. Since cinema is the powerful media reaching the masses, they must inculcate value and morals in the youths' minds who are mad about films and mad after their heroes. The crazy youths should understand the fact that the actors are not Gods or Godesses to be worshiped by all. Their acting may be appreciated. Once the actors, musicians and directors get fame

and name, they also own a moral responsibility towards the society they live in.

In no other country temples are built for the celebrities. This shows absurd stupidity of the crazy youths. when elders advise the mad youngsters to be modest in the way they dress up, there is hue and cry and protests from various organisations. This shows impatience of the youths. In for-eign lands people remember ac-

tors for their roles they played in the films. Christopher Reeve as a Superman, Sean Connery as James Bond, Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Homes, Christopher Lee as Dracula. W e also remember great actors like Sivaji as Veera Pandia Katta Bomman, MGR as a virtuous hero, Gemini Ganesan as a love hero. Many actors like Robert Williams of the Hollywood, MGR, Jayasankar from the kolly-wood and few actors from other states were philanthropists. The nightingale of Indian music ,Smt. M.S.Subbalakshmi gave away everything she earned for good causes. Even her Magsaysay award money was donated for the poor. During Indo-China war, celebrities from all states raised funds and contributed the money for our Mother Land.

When our PM Narendra Modiji started the mission of Swacch Bharat very few celebrities came forward to join the mission. Why do not others came out for clean-up campaign programmes?

The hard earned money and the precious time are being spent for their heroes by their mad fans. In the era of internet, E-mail, Face Book, Whatsapp, useful informa-tion are not shared, youngsters are interested in sharing about dirty jokes, filthy information about

films etc; Vedic and Vedanta cul-ture and many useful information uploaded in these are not been cared to be shared of. Who will stop them and show the right path? It is the responsibility of the famous cine actors and celebrities to correct the crazy youngsters. Did all the affluent and influential politicos and actors contribute lib-erally for the Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra people who faced the ordeals of the devastating floods and cyclone recently. These lead-ing celebrities should have led their fans to the affected areas for help. These people's mind set should also change. Running be-hind mad power or after money will do no good to them. The crazy youths should not be brain washed and behave as slaves.

Unnecessary spending for the celebrities' functions is to be stopped. Our crazy youngsters are a great human resource of our Nation. Let the celebrities adopt villages and do good service like providing good sanitation, giving health care, starting educational institutions like schools, help-ing them to get potable water for drinking. Through the films, they can impact patriotism and moral values, crazy youths are to be trained in war emergencies. Let the youths follow the foot prints of the young girl Malala Yousufai, the Nobel prize winner for peace and the young American scientist Sahil Joshi , an Indian American who invented a device that could convert carbon-di-oxide into electricity. The crazy youths from various walks of life are to pro-vided opportunities to prove their potentiality. Let the crazy youths not to be caught in the spider web of ignorance and worship of the celebrities.
