ized, Terminal, and Internal Alkynes. — Generally, conditions A) lead to the prefer-ential formation of meta-substituted products, while conditions C) switch the reaction to the para-substituted products. The application of substrate (VIII) under conditions A) leads to ketone (X), The similar procedure under conditions C) affords product (XII) after exposure to air.
