The Chem-Granite Super cartridgeconsistsofacylinderwithinacylinder.Theoutercylindercontainsepoxyresinandtheinnercylinderisfilledwithresinhardener.Using a dispensing gun, the resin andhardener components are simultaneouslyextruded into the mixing nozzle wherethey react and combine to form the highstrength Chem-Granite Super chemicalmortar.

Ananchorageisaccomplishedbyinjectingthe mortar into a drilled hole and thenrotating a steel rod into it until reachingthe bottom of the hole. The twistingmotion displaces air, distributes andpacks the mortar onto the surfaces ofthesteelrodandthewallofthehole.Themortar hardenswithinminutes to solidlyand permanently bond the steel to thesurroundingsubstrate.

6. Immediatelyinsertsteelboltorrebarintoadhesive,turningitslowly

byhand.Thisstirringactionistoexpelairbubbles,therebyallowingtheadhesivetocoatthebondingsurfaces.

7. Leaveundisturbeduntiltheadhesivehardens.

Before installing check that the bolt or rebar is free of loose rust, paint, oil and grease.

The critical spacing and edge distances shown above are the minimum required to achieve full load capacity. Where actualdistances are less than ccr and scr, the loads must be reduced by a percentage corresponding to the percentage of reduction in critical spacing/distance. The capacity of a group of 2 or
